I'm not sure if this is in the right spot or not... so sorry if it isn't.
Anyway I've noticed that in the input text area on the forums and news item comments pages that the text is weird serif font that it's really kind of hard to read. Particularly for me as I'm wearing glasses and I still have trouble trying to decipher what it is i'm typing without squinting at the screen (which ends up giving me headaches with the white background and all - which i am actually fine with as long as the font is easy to read).
Screencap here As you can see in the screencap it is only just decipherable. What's also interesting is that some punctuation (like hyphens) won't show up as you type either.
Hoping it might be changed to something more user friendly eventually.
edit: so I just double-checked on firefox (which i don't actually much, if at all anymore) and it appears that the text issue is to do with an update to Chrome I think...
Yeah I think this is actually a chrome thing, because it's happening on other sites for me. Super annoying though B(
edit: also effecting other programs on my comp so it may be a windows thing
Yeah I actually found it's to do with one of the updates Windows did on 11th February. A bit more googling and managed to find a solution that fixes it. solution here just need to scroll down to 'best answer' and follow the instructions.
It's definitely worked for me since I don't have any trouble reading the text in the input areas and it's not looking funky elsewhere on my computer. So hopefully that works for you.
