I have an Intuos 3 tablet and stylus. I do my painting and stuff in Photoshop 7 and it usually works totally fine. But today, the pressure sensitivity is completely gone. I've downloaded the newest driver twice and restart my computer twice. I've closed and re-opened PS many times and unplugged and re-plugged my tablet but nothing is working! I can't contact Wacom because they require the serial number and the one on my tablet's label is worn off and I can't afford a brand new one! Prices for tablets now are insane.
This has happened to me a few times and I found installing an older driver fixed the issue. Hope that helps!
It may also be your pen nib. If they wear down too much, they lose pressure sensitivity and need to be replaced. Your tablet should have come with replacements, so you can try looking up a tutorial to replace the nib for your specific pen and that may help? You may also want to right click the brush tool and try 'reset all tools'. This happens to me out of nowhere a lot and it's frustrating to try and solve but it usually fixes after a while and numerous attempts to fix it that I don't remember what I did lol. x:
I keep noticing these threads are necro'd way too late ugh lol. May want to lock this since it's several months old.
I can't find nibs for the Intuos 3 anywhere because it's an older product. If I can't find replacement nibs I'll have to waste money on a brand new one.

Ah! You might be able to buy a replacement pen like this one, but unfortunately that's the cheapest one I can find, and if you don't know for certain that it's your pen causing the problems then it might be a waste of money. :c Sorry I can't help anymore.
Thanks anyway
Are you still having this problem? Is so, did you try restarting the Wacom service? I have this problem all the time, and when I do, I go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services, search for the Wacom service and restart it (with PS closed). Then I open PS and the pressure works again. This might not work on the first try sometimes, but I try again and it gets fixed eventually.
