lol this one's a bit of a headache, yeah? of course you know to go to SubetaLodge and search for those cheap r66-r99 items for Fragmentizer... but then you'd also know that that takes forever and is no way near accurate...
I've found that hording them in my vault and filtering them by price works better there, though.
Anyone have their own tips or tricks to this one? I've got one massive headache and 1,571/5,000 crystals ;)
I already have the achievement, but here's what I did daily and continue to do for crystals:
- Vend 500 items[I use the vending machine at the carnival]
- Put items in shop and autoprice it
- Order items by usershop price
- Remove and fragmentize everything under a certain price(I did 5k sp but that's pretty high, I've just recently lowered it to 3k sp).
- Sell the rest of the items to get enough sp for tokens the next day.
- Repeat
This method may be terrible, but it worked fine for me.
I've been doing that too, I just vault the rares from my inventory before I stock... but I got impatient and did the math for the profit margins for the crystal shop and they're pretty high so I got committed.
That's priced at 3,000sP per crystal. O.O I soo have goals lol
P.S. 1,892/5,000 Crystals!
Such an annoying achievement, that's for sure. Lately I've just been fragmentizing anything under like 5k that I can't be bothered to price in my shop!
Is it for sure only items r66 - 99?
I use the vending method, but I haven't really done much headway on this achievement....it's just so tedious lol.

you are totally right! I found this post on the forums!
<p>The fragmentizer can turn items in your inventory to crystals, which you can then use to buy items from the Crystal Shop. You can fragmentize any restockable (i.e rarity 1-99) item. Fraggable items will show as clickable pictures when you&;re at the Fragmentizer.</p>
<p>Not all fraggable items will always give you a crystal - it&;s based on rarity. If you use common, mundane or normal items I recommend you only use VERY cheap ones, as you&;re likely to get no more than three crystals per ten items.</p>
<p>If you&;re fragging multiples of the same item, you do NOT need to click back every time; you can just keep hitting Refresh till you run out of that item.</p>
<p>R65 and under: 0-1 crystals
R66 - R89: 1 crystal
R90 - R98: 1-2 crystals
R99: 1-3 crystals</p>
<p>To spend the crystals, they need to be in your crystal bank (there&;s also an achievement for having 1000+ crystals in your bank). They cannot be removed from the bank, only spent on crystal shop items.
When I first started I wasn't getting like any crystals and found a post that said they needed to be r66-r99 but I guess that was misinformation, my bad!

wooooow that's a blast from the past, I wrote that before we could mass-frag our whole inventories. it still applies as far as item rarities go though.
me, I use a similar system to what mentioned: vend, autoprice, pull out everything below a certain price.
then I buy out any rare items I've just filtered if I have time. hoard everything in my hoarding shop and pull it out for a mass fragging when the mood takes me.

I'm pulling everything under 5k in my shop now... lol, I've gone through about 5 pages and got over 300 crystals out of it, it's taking a while and the payout isn't great, but at least my shop is starting to feel less cluttered ^-^
edit: - No problem! S'why I wanted to start this thread - it's a time consuming achievement and tedious at best, and I thought some discussion could help us refine each of our systems and maybe even make it a little more fun.
