(ITEM CLAIMED!) What two facts about Gliese 581 d would be most notable to xenobiologists or observational astronomers?

I also have a Cuttlefish Sword up with a different question. :)

Isn't that one of the possibly habitable planets that also may or may not exist? I was doing some reading on it recently. ^^;

Yes and yes. The latter part is more recent news, as further analysis of the star indicates that only planets c, b, and e can actually be confirmed.

That question (and prize) is done! I have another lot up with a Ruby Sequin Party Dress (or Party Jacket) for anyone who can tell me what would happen to its color at 30 meters under sea water without artificial light, and why. :)

The red dress/jacket would appear to be very dark in color, or black. This is because red wavelengths of light are absorbed strongly by water, with increased absorbance at greater depths.

That is correct! Do you want the dress or the jacket?
