Rate my Themed Avatar?

Hey guys! I just wanted to get a few opinions... I've thought things through very carefully in the making of this avatar. I don't know how many of you know about the series 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians', but I'm obsessed with this series so I thought my avatar should reflect that.
In The Sea of Monsters (the book, not the film) Annabeth and Percy find their way to C.C.'s Spa and Resort, where the sorceress Circe draws them in with two beauty treatments. And as much as I wanted to turn my avatar into a guinea pig... I thought I could do a lot more with Annabeth's makeover.
I based this on both how I imagined Annabeth and how Percy barely recognised her. She had a completely new wardrobe, and she looked like she was a sorceress herself, and make-up which she 'wouldn't be caught dead in'. The background represents how Circe had enchanted the pair of them into not wanting to disappoint her, and the idea of reality being warped a little. I also carefully chose her expression to show her uncertainty and slight distrust of Circe despite the enchantments.
What do you guys think? :)
I have only seen one of the movies, and never read the books. But I think you pulled off what you were aiming to do pretty well, the only thing I have to say is that I don't see a lot of makeup. Or- any makeup except for the blush. There's a ton of great items you could use for this, try using [url=www.subetalodge.org[/url] and you can look through a lot of SB items on that site. You can even tailor the search to include or exclude things at certain prices, and whether or not it's a custom wearable. But over all I think I'll give this 8/10.
I understand where you're coming from, and I intended to do the small amount of makeup. When I made this I picked those eyes on purpose because the eyelashes look longer than what I imagine Annabeth would have. I took the fact he didn't mention how much make-up she was wearing to heart. Just a little would be like... why would she wear it?
