WELCOME WELCOME! I love commissioning tribute items to be made. I'm a huge fangirl gamer so at the moment you'll probably find me tinkering away on some of the stuff I play. Thought I'd make a board where I can post some of the crazy madness that's going through my head, also to take on suggestions. One of the challenges with tribute items is to make the 4 changes while still keeping the essence of the tribute still there. Hope to use this board as a place of discussion for ideas and things.
List of stuff I have commissioned already or finished: (Note: I will include the commissioner as well) -Draenei Horns and Hooves, World of Warcraft (2 pieces, submitted, drawn by ) -Corrupted Ashbringer, World of Warcraft (1 piece, currently working with ) -Flemeth Tribute Wig & Crown, Dragon Age (2 piece set, drawn by ) -Avvar Chief Goat Helm, Dragon Age Inquisition (1 piece, drawn by ) -Fran Ears, FFXII (1 piece with recolours, goes with Forest Sprite set, drawn by )
List of stuff I am currently trying to flesh out: (Note: Some are obviously more fleshed out than others)
-Garrus Armour, Mass Effect (2-3 piece set) -Tyrael Armour, Diablo 3 (3 piece set) -White Mage & Black Mage Capelets, Final Fantasy (1 piece each) -Azrael Wings, Darksiders (1 Piece) -Elin Reaper Wig, Tera (1 Piece)
Garrus Armour
This idea is still in the early stages, haven't even picked what armour of his I want to do. Right now I'm leaning towards his set from Mass Effect 3.
Plan:
For this one I want to make a separate chest piece, pants and possibly either his face makings to some full blown face shape changes. (going big or going home with this one since I absolutely adore garrus, would like this set to be really fleshed out)
Chest piece
Changes: Reverse colours, make circular parts hexagons, put a collar inside the hood to help hide face, toss a halo on there
Legs
Changes: Reverse colours, make circular parts hexagons.... I dunno where to go from there lol
Wings
Changes: Armor is silver, wings are gold energy, armour part curves instead of being straight, Wings have bends instead of smooth curves.
White & Black Mage Capelets
Reference wise it changes every darn final fantasy game...
Plan: Make a small hood item that has the essence of these 2 iconic final fantasy classes.

Changes
-Using the runes as the icons used in the memory game on Subeta.
-Maybe more ombre then a solid colour (i.e pink to white with pink runes or gold to white maybe?)
-Runes would be a different colour instead of blue
-Add something like a small piece of armor, ribbons or beading
CI Idea: Something similar to but with a small feather behind it and the one in the front with a small rune?
- Ears can curl/point downwards instead of up.
- Bangs can be more swept to the side like this: Example
- Possibly add in a cute small pair of horns to make it more deer like instead of sheep. Something simple like: This
- Make the pompoms/fluffs smaller and perhaps part of the hair ties? (Random Example)
- Looser curls, maybe a bit messier.
CI idea: Ear and antler with a pompom the same colour as the hair.

Do you play Hearthstone? I think a Hearthstone tribute would be the best thing ever, maybe a backdrop or little cards that the HA can hold And more Diablo tributes would be awesome too x) (basically anything Blizzard)
also just curious do you play/have played Magic the Gathering
-Disease Yes I do play Hearthstone! :) I'm a Blizzard game monster. xD Only just realized yesterday I got into the Heroes Beta. That's an interesting idea, I'll have to see what I can think of.

LOVE the sketch Id totally wear it. Im so glad to meet someone who makes CWs like this. I was getting hella sick of all the girly hair and dresses and kimonos. Do you have like a ping group for when you are slotting new CWs?

The fun part will be getting this stuff commissioned. xD Should name the thread Zawmcy tributes. (Dang it now I have the "I'm so fancy" song stuck in my head but instead its I'm so "zawmcy")

And also probably most of the other stuff. But definitely definitely will take slots on those.
All of these are too damn amazing! Interest in most of them, aha. //cries forever cuz can't do armour / metals to save own life
