Hello!

To start, I have never purchased art before, so please let me know if there is something missing in my explanation of what I am after or if something isn't clear.

I am looking for some Love Birds. I would love to use the image for my fiance and I's wedding invitations, save the dates, our website, and other materials that may arise. So I am asking in advance for permission to do so. We will not be using the image commercially - just personal use.

We actually own this salt and pepper shaker and would love the image to be based on this (we are gonna use it as a cake topper!!): Salt and Pepper Shakers. We love the pose on this one.

In terms of style, I think that we are looking for something similar to this: Cookies What I like about this: It is simple, cute, yet not too cutesy. I like that the birds do not have large open eyes, but soft, closed eyes (they look happy and in love).

A few more styles that I like: Image Image

We like the teal/orange/yellow combo of the first image, but we would love to have some dark (plum, lapis) purple added as well (this will be the bridesmaid dress color). Maybe a bit softer colors as well. The red on the top of the man-bird's head is a bit harsh.

According to my graphic designer sister (who will be designing all materials), we are looking for someone that is able to provide the original source file (EPS preferred). If this is not possible, a high-res 300DPI) image, at least 5x7 inches, as a transparent TIFF File would be the next option.

Please post examples of your art available/prices so that I can get an idea of your style before commissioning you.

What a cute concept, I'd love to give it a try. :) My deviantart is on my signature, though it's more relevant for showing you my coloring style than it is for the subject matter since that gallery has mostly humans.
