I've been having a a problem with new events showing up in my sidebar. I'll get a red number in the tab saying I have a new alert, but when I go to click the events or even refresh the page, there's no new event showing up. I verified/confirmed that I actually am getting events, because I went to check my mailbox and there was a new message that wasn't even alerted or shown as an event.

My main concern is that I'm missing very important events and not being able to properly communicate with people.
