I know I made a topic about this some time ago and no staff ever really commented on it but I figure I'd try again.

It's nice that we can keep old gifts, with their messages and who sent them, it helps if we need to thank people properly or check to make sure things have sent. It's all well and good but after a nearly full year that's A LOT of gift boxes starting to pile up and the page takes forever to load some days.

Why not allow us the option of deleting the gifts if we know we no longer need them. If people want to keep all their gifts that's fine but at least allow others to remove old ones so that the page won't lag or crash due to so many images.

If that's not an option for right now, then maybe list by month, that way you still keep the gifts/messages but you can browse by month, less mess and less loading time maybe?

Anyway just tossing that out there again.

Or if all else fails... Paginate the Gift Center to take the loading pressure off... cause some people might have far too many gifts and that page lags terribly.

I'd support this. I waaaant to say there should be a certain finite amount of space like we do with sMail, but I'm not sure how people would feel about that. Or if it would be possible.

Or at least have a... text option, or something, archived by month, with usernames (or anon) so we could click to read the message and see the gift... idk.

I'd settle for things being paginated, by year or maybe six-month increments.

I wouldn't mind an option to delete them though, I was lucky enough to be part of a very elaborate anon plot that I'd like to keep, but I also have a handful of gifts that I got probably as part of Major Drills quests or something that don't have any sentimental value to them. It'd be nice to clean up my page a bit c:

since sometimes smails are deleted - with fair warning and encouragement to save any messages we want saved - I foresee something similar happening with gift messages. Though I would prefer pagination to help the loading times, sometimes things just have to be deleted. (such as old events, recently.)

I would rather not get more things deleted on me, but I'm ok with an option for people to pick and delete some things that are less important to them.

I'd still prefer pagination and archives over that, though.

Yeah I wouldn't want everything deleted, just an option for us to delete what we don't need any more or yeah pages/categories to make things easier.

Yes please. I don't even get all that many gifts and I have a lot of things I'd like to get rid of. I can't imagine what it must be like for people who get a lot of gits.

At the very least it should be paginated.

I think Pagination would be awesome. I wouldn't want things deleted though, I like being able to look back at what was given to me without fear of it being delted and me having to remember to save it myself. Long story short, I have an awful memory.

I think I suggested this before as well because I remember being told there pretty much was no reason to do this. Look, I don't have any reason to keep the gift box with a Slots Spork and no message attached. I wasn't asking for every single present of everyone on site to be deleted, just the ability to pick which ones I don't want to keep.

I know I don't have that many presents but the page freezes a few seconds on me and I'm afraid of what will happen as I get more presents over time.

Archiving would be nice....definitely a no to deleting them though, like the situation with deleting events.

Although this might be asking for too much, a search feature would be really nice too.

Pagination or being able to delete old gifts (or both) would be really great! I get gifts fairly frequently from one or two of my friends and that page is so cluttered and huge. Pagination would really help keep it organized.

As the other thread was locked, and I would like this to happen, I'm hereby showing my support! :) I would like any of the above suggestions, being able to delete gifts, pagination, or tabs per year. Anything would work.

I would love pagination - Even just per year would be great as it keeps stacking up and takes forever to load!

I do kind of wish there was a way to remove old gifts. I don't need to be able to see ones from over two years ago.

I'd love to delete and/or archive Major Drills gifts and gifts without messages. Support.
