So I've been wanting more headwears on subby and I can't ever seem to find any circlet that is dainty enough and at the same time something I would like to wear. I mean there are some nice non-CW ones but they tend to be bulky or aren't the right color or something, so I'm interested in commissioning one.
I'm thinking something along the lines of this:

I really like the so I would probably want it around that sort of style, maybe simple maybe more complex not sure. I definitely want it more on the dainty style. I don't have an artist in mind yet, though if you are interested in drawing this for me let me know what your price is, in either USD or CSC. I'd probably release a silver and gold (maybe black and maybe copper) but Silver will be the initial color and the recolors would be based on interest in the first color.
I'm interest gauging now to see if anyone else is interested in slotting on something like this. Calling any wiccans, pagans and/or moon lovers. ^-^
For anyone who isn't familiar with the symbol
The triple goddess is a symbol of fertility and represents the maiden (waxing crescent) the mother (full moon) and the crone/old lady (waning crescent). It's a very powerful wiccan/pagan symbol that represents the goddess, the femininity. There is a male symbol that is the moon with a crescent moon on top of it like horns which represents the male god/horned god, though I'm not gonna go in too deep about the meaning of all the wiccan symbols because I don't know the exact details for all of them being out of practice for a bit. But the symbol of the triple goddess holds it's own place in my heart, wiccan or not. I mean I don't have children of my own yet, but I do one day hope to experience the beauty (and sure even ugliness) of motherhood). And I think the three stages of the triple goddess represent most if not all women, even women who don't have children.

I might like it to be something more like this shape with the triple moon symbol on the sides of the center stone
I mean it's pretty simple still, but maybe I could rather than have the detailing on the moons, have some swirlies going around it. and the moon would be the center moon stone with the two crescents coming out of it.. and then with this shape the curving V I could get a nice single/double drape on the side with drops at one of the ends.
I'm just throwing around ideas right now until I have something more concrete, so feel free to give in any input you have, the only thing that I ask is that you consider light and dainty in mind. I know I'm throwing around ideas of details here and there, but it's not gonna look too cluttered because that defeats the purpose of it. But if I end up liking more than one idea I may commission more than one design, because I need/love headwears.

Oh yeah, I was just using it as an example, because I seriously love headwear that has the draping and falling strands, so out of that what I'm most likely to take is the draping and the middle moon (maybe with the moonstone) since it's very common for moonstones to be in such an item.
I can't draw so I can't really give a good example, but I'm thinking more of something like the second one with some draping (and maybe pearl strands) on the side and perhaps either a pearl/moonstone dangling or moonstone in the center instead of the crescent moon. Since really the middle moon is supposed to be the full moon (but I do really love that U crescent moon. LOL. And then based on the size of this thing, since I do want it small and dainty, there may or may not be some intricate weaving in the side moon(s). But that's just one idea, if people prefer it more simple like the second or third ideas without the draping then I may just do that. :P

i love this and i love the symbolism too! WOMAN POWER! fyi i like the first one more but from an artist's standpoint the second one might be easier to make into a CW since it's not as detailed so it won't look as cluttered on the small base (:

Thanks for the input. Yeah I figure I can't have it too detailed because it'll be difficult to draw and have all of the detail seen on such a small base, but I've seen dainty things with drapes so I think that could be achieved, but I definitely am trying to keep it simple and dainty, also because I don't wanna pay a buttload for such a small wearable. Haha.
I'm gonna look at other CWs as references, perhaps I can get an idea of what look can be achieved on such a small item. I've seen things like antlers with small details and such.
definitely! mostly, you'll probably have to simplify them so they drape/loop a couple less times, but draping is definitely still something you can incorporate :) i'd look for some wigs with built-in crowns for reference too! there's one that comes to mind that also has horns on it but i can't think of the name at the moment x:
Yeah so items I would be using for inspiration would be something like not such long drapes as in these, but something like just the bottom drape part against the side, with the teardrop effect on the end, something like that is definitely attainable.
Probably the celtic knots and such will need to be taken out, so it would turn out rather simple if I didn't add the drapes, though in the third example, I think someone could definitely do the twisted body.
Actually I have a circlet somewhere, I don't even remember what it looked like but maybe I could use it for some reference... goes to find I think it was fairly simple, and it wasn't triple goddess, but it's worth looking at to see how I could miniaturize it.

Soooo tempting.... 8I I'm trying so hard not to take commissions because of the little time, but I freaking love headpieces too. So lovely. The circlet that you bought is lovely! You could def get that one done and mesh with elements of the first one (my fave cuz I too love the draping). Jes... hmmmm. When's do you want it done? Does it have to be before Christmas?
