For the raffle you could "assign" every username a number, and then randomly pick a number from a number generator.

I think the higher end prizes need to go to people that have proved they threw the most.

I agree with Create like 3 tiers for prizes and users.

Hey again! Throwing snowballs when I can, but getting ready for the holiday is not giving me much free time lately :( I am not very creative when it comes to contests and stuff like that. Sorry I can't be of more help with it.

Hello! Lots of throwing action happening, I think after this I don't want to see a snowball ever again :D I agree with the above. I don't know how easy it would be to rank the prizes, but it makes sense that the people who threw the most would get the 'best' prizes. Maybe use a random generator to pick out each prize for each participant based on the prize pools still available, if that makes sense. That way the people who threw more would get 'first dibs' (but still random) from the best prizes. Then work your way down to the lower tier prizes. Sorry I'm not much help, haha.

yeah I was thinking along the same lines for those. :)

To the point of proving authenticity of we got rid of that in the entries because some people didn't know how to screen shot. I agree its better to have proof, but it would be kinda lame to tell them they cant win now even if they had been participating. maybe we could have two catagories? any other ideas on how to handle this mess?

Then we have to handle diving up the prizes to which tiers hahaha

ahh so much work :/

why not just stop doing how many people have thrown since the start and give prizes based on how much they've thrown in general:

Most total thrown 15k+ total thrown 10k+ total thrown 5k+ total thrown

and require a screenshot for that :o

I agree with this. doing a screen shot itsnt hard at all. If someone really wants to participate, I dont think googling "how to screenshot" is really too difficult.

Since I am not an originator of the contest, I'm not sure how much input I should have. That being said, it was my understanding the contest was created to encourage more Team Dolly participation in the official event.

Thinking this was a great incentive, I joined and then decided it was a really great idea and decided to donate a prize.

I chose to participate and donate because the OP indicated prizes would be distributed to the individuals who threw the most snowballs from time they entered the contest to the end of official event.

To change the terms, after the fact, is asking for trouble.

It's entirely possible I misunderstood the OP (when I entered) and/or the suggestion to give prizes to the individuals with the highest official event totals. If this is the case...ignore me.

No I was under the impression that the people with the highest totals would get the best prizes as well.

I agree that for this contest the people who throw most since the OP should get the prizes.. I put that in place because on the first day there was no 5 sec, which gave people an advantage. plus we needed the people who already threw a lot to keep throwing, not just say I already threw a lot and here is my number.

still there are really a lot of prizes. So think either the top 3 throwers are going to get ALOT of stuff or we should have more then prizes for the top 3 maybe the top 5? or more... i just dont know.

To quantify it we have 1300 CSC, a Candybo Book, 10 million pure sp, 3,250 Wizard Tokens, a Lizard Minion Trap, a Deluxe Tea Set, a Dusty Coal Hair Scarf, a Girly Black Hair Poof, a Pime Hair Coupon, a Glacier Potion, and more added every day. Maybe it just seems like a lot and having three top throwers would be fine.

Also, theres no reason we can't also have a prize for a top overall thrower (or throwers) if we have enough prizes to go around.

I am not saying to just do the top three. I am just saying the best prizes should be for the top throwers. :)

I will be donating 100 CSC to the contest! I think we should reward the top 10 (or how man people we have items for) who threw the most snowballs, and have them prove it by a screenshot of some sort.
