Wishlists

I've just pushed a new version of wishlists, that should load much faster. You're probably noticing some missing features, but we wanted to get these out as soon as we could so that you can do your luminaire shopping! All old links should redirect correctly to the new wishlists.

Missing Features

• "You have this item!" It's very possible this will not be returning to wishlists. I tried to incorporate it in this faster coding, but it's still a very hard thing to do. It's possible I'll rewrite the method that pulls all of the items from your account (to include less metadeta)
• Sort by "name" and "user price". Both of these sorting options will return at some point. They we excluded for now due to speed.
• Search: Will come back at some point.

Looks a little weird but if it makes it actually load and be faster, I can deal. :)

Really sad to see the "you have this" feature may not come back, because it's super useful... but it does make sense that it's a resource hog!

Erm - how do we link people to our wishlists now?

[edit] Also, the new design seems very large but the buttons to search shops and your account are very small by comparison.

[edit] Discovered how to find others' wishlists - however I don't know the ID number of all of my friends, and some folks don't have their wishlist linked on their profile - so only being able to retrieve it with the ID number is going to make all of this harder, not easier =/

Neat, alphabetized and clean looking. Nice.

Super sad about the "You have this" but yeah, I know it's not like code is created with a magic wand and I'm SO glad the WL's are back! Thanks a bunch. :)

When clicking on friends View Wishlist, this shows up

Whew, good thing to see work on faster WLs being done!

I also agree that maybe keeping the default "You have this item" isn't the best, especially when it lags large WLs.

But if you guys keep the 'load account items' so you can have the option to see if you have the items, should you choose, that'd be great.

What about the search feature, will that be coming back as well?

Okay but how do we view wishlists for our non-friends... Also that literally messes up every code I've made for people...

Welp, so much for that...

Can we please choose how to sort the categories instead of only alphabetically? I took care to organize mine a certian way even though I had to completely move categories of items on occasion to get some where I wanted them :(

when i go to the "friends" button and click someone's WL, all of them redirect to this link: http://subeta.net/wishlists.php/%7B$un%7D

and i get a "Oh No! Invalid Wishlist"

Aw, okay. But I totally understand, even the load account items took a while and crashed often.

At least we still have the account search option readily available. :3

I really, really hope that you find a way to keep the "You have this!" function! It's super useful, and makes things so much easier. ):

Any link that is custom made doesn't work - because it directs to subeta.net/wishlists/USERNAME - we don't all know everyone's User ID number - so only being able to load lists from that isn't helpful.
