Alright so this request is rather strange. Here's the reason why:
Picturs, one of my pets, is a scribble Tigrean. He's going to be a video game protagonist/adventurer with a cute little story. Except, here's the thing, I want him to be in the old graphic style of games like for the SEGA system and stuff. So, I would like him to be drawn in pixel art. Reason why I just want the line art is because 1. I apparently can't draw a cartoon tiger/human hybrid adventurer, and 2. Making pixel art is rather time-consuming and somewhat challenging so I don't want artists to spend a ludicrous amount of time on it like I would.
Now, I have no idea how the rules apply to just asking for line art or how much it would cost, but I assure you that I will give full credit for the line art used and if so desired, have a link or some kind of incorporation of the line art in Picturs' profile as well.
I would also like to get feedback while working on the pixel art for Picturs from the artist just to make sure its up to their standard art-wise ouo
Boy, I am asking for a lot, aren't I?
Please ping me if you are interested in making the line art and agreeing with the above text. If you're not, please be sure to be clear on your own rules so there's no misunderstanding~ Let me know a price range as well!
Oh this sounds fun.
I'd need some examples in terms of size, style etc... I'm not familiar with SAGA sprites. However I normally change £10(GBP) per hour for non-standard commissions such as this, I am able to record the process and/or live stream it for you to add your input and see how I'm spending my time.
I can estimate it taking me 1-2 hours from sketch to completed lineart (not including time spent potentially waiting for a reply from you if you're not online, time which I do not charge for). This is however only an estimate, not a quote.
I don't do a lot of pixel work, as so far I've only done it in my spare time for myself, but here some some recent examples, the first (mecha) was done in one evening to give you a rough idea of time spent.
And based on a MSX2 game MG:

I always give wip shots, in the case of pixel art where you only want the lines I'll probably only be able to offer a progress shot at the initial sketch stage, as lineart is when I next show my progress, however I can make changes easily enough with just lines.
Thanks for the response! I should have clarified a little more - I was just looking for a sketch that I could turn into a pixel drawing myself :) I've found somebody already who can do a sketch for me, but if you don't mind, I'd love to contact you again for critiques on my progress with it. Keep up the pixel art~ I think it's wonderful!
