Generic title, I know. Hi, I'm new. (My account's over a month old, but I made the account and made a pet and then did nothing until a few days ago.)

I've just been kind of wandering about the site so far, playing a bunch of games and doing some quests. Don't expect to be on the forums much. I just like a lot of petsites.

Couple questions I guess:

1. If I want to hoard minions, do I have to stick them in the vault?
2. How do I tell what type of item an item is? Some are minions, some are food, some are both...
3. Why do some food items sell for ridiculous prices?
4. Is there a guide to what items do? Like... what's the purpose of shampoos?
5. What are pet treasures? (Like "move to {pet name)'s treasure")

I probably have other questions but otherwise, hello!

Some items have no purpose. Shampoos are basically just there because reasons. And as treasure chest fillers. Treasure chests are items your pet is displaying on its profile. Sort of like their hoard. (Click here to see one of mine.)

You can create a shop and use it as a Gallery - change from shop to gallery in the shop settings - that means others can view your items as well.

If you own the item you can click on it while it is in your inventory and see what it does. Otherwise most of us use Subetalodge (it's a fansite, not an official registry).

Some foods are expensive because they've retired, some of them you can wear as clothes or just because they don't sell very much of them c: They can also sometimes have a good effect on your pet, especially if you're the type of person to use your pet to battle. Some also put them in treasures since their pets are themed, so if they want like a christmas themed pet they might put hot chocolates there or something like sweaters etc etc.
