Hi. So, several months ago back in September or whenever the forum groups were revamped I have been unable to see the groups I am in. I reported it a few times since then but I haven't gotten an answer so I'm breaking down and making a thread now.
This is what I see when I click on groups. Just groups. From the main forum page, I click on "groups" and I see this. It looks normal. But when I click on "Your groups"...
absolute ghost town. The beige background is part of my customcss, which I have removed ALL of my customcss completely to see if that was affecting it, and it was not.
When I view a group that I know for a fact that I am in, like the TS restock group, I get the option to leave the group:
So this right here proves that I am in, at least, one group. Yet it's not listed.
nothing makes my groups show up. I feel like I'm the only one experiencing this issue since no one else ever talks about it and I always get ignored when I report it on the "forum issues" thread. I honestly don't know what to do at this point.
Before the forum groups were "revamped" I had no issue viewing what groups I was in. Now I have not been able to view my groups for months.
I am using Firefox 38.0.5 on Windows 7.
I have: -removed my custom css -cleared cookies/cache etc -tried it on a completely different computer (windows 8) -on the different computer I removed my customcss -tried using Google Chrome -tried using Internet Explorer -tried disabling all add-ons with no effect -tried accessing the page on a Nintendo 2Ds with internet capabilities, and still nothing.
Like really what am I supposed to do when I have no custom css and it won't even work on a completely different computer, using a different browser? I'm like 99.9% sure this is account related and I would really like for Keith to access my account and take a look at my groups page.
Jeeze that's really bad. Mine's not like that at all! I wonder what's causing yours to hiccup like that.

I think so?
also, I had no clue how to find out of I did or not. After confusing research I typed "about:config" in the url and had to search for javascript and I think I saw something that said "javascript.enabled" or something

Since I'm not getting anywhere on this, I got my friend to compare inspected elements with me on our forum groups page. Her forum groups work. Mine do not.
We figured out that the forum group information is supposed to be inside of
div#group_container
In her dropdown of the container, it begins listing information about her groups.
There's nothing there in my dropdown, it's only closed with a
sorry I was so confusing in the ticket, here are some screenshots
this is likely a problem with the description or something in one of the groups you're a member of.
can you go to http://subeta.net/forums.php/getUserGroups and send me a screenshot of what you get? :)
can you try http://grace.dev.subeta.net/forums.php/getUserGroups?
you can post it here :)
hmm that is actually not what i expected at all haha
does the groups page work if you view it from my dev? http://grace.dev.subeta.net/forums.php/groups/#/your
it's actually not a good thing because it's going to make it a lot harder to figure out why it's not working on the main site (also the development server is typically closed to normal user access) :/
should be working now :)
