My first pet here was a Montre named Aschël, and at the time that I made him, there wasn't any issue with his name. Now, though, when I look at my profile or go to put my pets in the Resort, his name shows up like this. [IMG]http://i59.tinypic.com/14szbc7.png[/IMG]

I figured it could just be changed to "Aschel," without the diaeresis to keep this from happening again? Sorry if this is something I should have just submitted a ticket for, I just wanted to be able to provide examples.

Yes, pets with special characters in their name are no longer allowed. Well, they are, I guess, but that happens. I think the only thing that can be done is changing the name.

I believe back when they made this change, (I THINK) they offered free name changes for those pet for short time period. Now, we have to do it ourselves.
