The artists are amazing here, and every year I can't wait to see just what sort of awesome design they create. This is not a plea to speed up a particular pet color combination, but rather an idea I had regarding the toy type for the Nostalgic Mahar and Dillema.

For the Mahar, the color would turn it into a Lite-Brite toy. The gemstones on the Mahar's belly would be the peg lights that made Lite-Brite so much fun years ago. Gold Mahars have multi-color gemstones on their belly, and I figured it would look similar to them, but turned into a toy and the position changed to show off the gemstones more.

For the Dillema, the color would turn it into a Big Wheel. This idea I can't really explain other than it's one large Big Wheel with the feet turned into wheels.

Please feel free to comment or add other Nostalgic toy ideas, but do not beg for a pet color or combination to be sped up. I am sure they are busy working on as many as possible, and we'll be seeing new pets or revamped ones in due time. Thanks!

Sounds great! I love my gold mahar, and it would be nice to see a nostalgic mahar especially. It sounds like a winner to me :)

A lite brite sounds kind of flat and lifeless. I'd prefer to see something more pet-like for the mahar, like a treasure troll:

... I don't care what pet its for, but I'd really love a Lite brite pet.

I think a Lite Brite pet could totally work! Not just like a bunch of flat dots, but something at an angle maybe that shows that it's made of a bunch of pegs. Or something to show it's on a tray. This is a great idea for the Mahar, but it could work on other species as well.

The Treasure Troll is also a great idea for the Mahar.

Nakota can be a furby because of the beak.

I love the idea of using a lite brite as the inspiration for the Mahar, particularly if the pegs replaced the gems.

Lite Brite!! I had one as a kid and loved it sooo much. But I also loved those Troll dolls. I'd love to see either for the Mahar.

But I'd love more than that to see a Nostalgic Neela or Noktoa. :)

That is terrifying and yet hilarious. I would be too afraid to get one, but it would be a great addition. XD

Also, for the Mahar - Maybe just make the pet look like a plastic doll with light bright pegs sticking out of it where the gems should be? Instead of making it like a flat board?

Could the Hipottu be a Hungry Hungry Hippo? Because I would die laughing :D

And maybe the Cybill could be one of those squeaky penguins with the squeaker in its beak?

I always think of Wheezy from Toy Story, when I think of them making a Nostalgic Cybill one.

Bahaha, I'd love a furby Noktoa. I'm starting to think I'm one of the few people who aren't disturbed by them xD

Either that, or for the Noktoa, one of those balancing birds. I used to have a bunch in all different colors, the ones that balanced on your finger on their beak, and had weights in their wings. Would have been better for a Lain or Fester, but those are already taken, so :c

A furby noktoa sounds perfect. Furbies were annoying, but they were still cute. (Except for my sister's which short circuited, overheated, and started smoking. That was traumatizing.)

Either that, or some kind of clock. I had one of these as a kid:

You could set the clock on its stomach, and then press its foot to open its eyes, and it tells you the time so you can learn how to read clocks.

When I was a kid I had these tiny Sylvanian Families dolls that look like, among other animals, this. I think I would be over the moon if there was a Nostalgic pet based on them!

This would be cute! I can see the Nostalgic Ontra as a Sylvanian Families inspired pet. The Terracoon or Popoko could work well too.
