I am a rather unfashionable person, so naturally my least favourite part of designing new characters is coming up with clothes for them to wear. T-shirts and jeans are all very well, unless you're designing a warrior, a princess or someone who has the least bit of fashion sense. So I'd love some tips on designing outfits for my characters, more specifically for these two:
Freyja Ulfgard, aka The Immortal Empress. She's a Sami (a native of northern Lapland/Norway) and spent a lot of time with Vikings, so she shows a lot of Norse influences in her fashion sense. Likes to wear furs with carved animal fangs and claws as jewelry or decorations. She also wears flowers in her hair and plant-themed clothing. Physically, she's slim but muscular with light skin and white hair; her body shape is sort of rectangular with angular features. Likes the colours blue, green and brown.
Evren Anubis: Freyja's youngest son and a spoilt princeling. He likes to take care of himself, wearing fine clothes and make-up; he doesn't care about what's 'masculine' or 'feminine'. Like his mother he loves flowers and floral prints. Evren likes frills, ruffles and lace. His clothes tend to be elegant but not fussy - he likes clothes he could fight in, if worst comes to worst. He wears a lot of gold jewelry, especially rings and necklaces. Physically, he's tall and has the body of an olympic runner; he has light brown skin and deep brown hair. Likes pastels, pink, black and white.
Thank you. :3
