Well since the pricing help forum seems dead I'll just put this here since it's about art anyway

I was thinking about opening Pet overlay commissions. (animals only sorry qq)

I worked on both for 2 days each, equal to a few hours or a few more because i'm a horrible perfectionist and can't stand 1 pixel on the wrong position fffff

Do you think anyone would be interested or what prices in USD/ CSC/ sP would you suggest, judging by your experience here?

I might not open them right now cause I've been having raging migraine attacks since 3 days so I can't do much beside watching youtube all day or doing some quests here But i DO WANT to draw and i've been asked about pet overlays by some people Thanks alot in advance for your answers ;A;

o: Wowie. I think... I dunno. I think you could charge anywhere between 15-30mil and call it good. More if you become well known. Tell me if/when you open anything... I might buy from you...

Aww thank you baybeh, alright! I guess I can open them on monday, i guess I should be feeling better then ~23m is not much in CSC though, 500 CSC/5 dollars @@ I was not kidding when I said I do work like 6-10 hours on them

Go by usual prices, not the inflated current price if csc, it'll stabilize again in about a month and a half. If you build up a customer base I'd bet you could build the price up pretty easy to $30-$45+ USD, possibly a lot more. Understand my prices are based on when I was last buying a redraw which was... a while ago XD I'd start by makings a ping group and maybe a thread selling cheaper things/small drawings first, while still offering the overlays/redraws. You could also do a "bribe spot" for people who want the large work and they'll tell you what they think it's worth. That way you'd only have to take the commission if you think it's worth your time.

Yeah, I returned here when CSC were about 20m / 1000... a month ago or a bit more Haha I know, when I bought overlays some years ago they were still pretty cheap on average, although there were less artists..

Ahhh, that sounds like a great idea! I sort of tried that by opening sketch coms 2 weeks ago, but people told me everyone was saving for the BF sales so nobody would buy, and that's how it was... I have no idea about this ping group stuff though and bribes and so on.. if you could explain me a bit, that'd be great!!

Yeah, I'd wait until January to really start selling "big" stuff. You could probably start on smaller drawings though :P

Yeah but prob is i'd need every kind of money i can get like, SOON... x.x i finally finished my driving license after over a year on Nov 4th, and since then been trying to find a mini job+open coms to save up for a car. I have some memory illness so if i dont drive 2-3 months now i can start from 0 again which would really suck no luck finding minijob tho + no luck on comms :s

You could try doing an auction on the art auction boards.

Ahh thank you so much ;A; I do have a deviantart too, but not all of the stuff I draw is uploaded there .. lots of almost finished works floating around in my folder oops and in my sig is my sketch / colored sketch topic!

Start for at least $20 o-o! Your arts are gorgeous, and I've seen lesser art going for more. You can work up your prices later with more examples!

I wouldn't know what to price that at. What I do know is that I don't have enough to even make an offer. o.o; Beautiful work on the colors, shading, and crispness of the lines!

Thanks, that's sweet! I know, i didn't even have any own money until i was 21 and got a bit back from college loans sort of thing I'm doing my best! hahah the lines alone take me like 1-2 hours because i can't stand stray pixels ha ha sob nono i enjoy it too!
