So I already have pretty set prices for my stuff in USD, but I honestly have no idea what conversions to use on Subeta to make them equal :c
Commission Chart shows the standard prices I already have down for usd things, but again, I have no clue on the sP value XD I'd assume 100 CSC for 1usd though? Unless people generally price lower?
Also not really sure what would sell better on here? Most sites I mess around with people love to have ref sheets of their characters, but it doesn't seem like there would be as much of a market for that here, unless I'm mistaken? So probably just the top 4 things + chibis (I 100% doubt anyone here wants breed arts LOL )
Also I do a lot of dogs, but I'm planning to do whatever including subeta pets when I decide to open on here no really I can draw non-canines I promise if that effects pricing (I just not the humans XD )
[edit] There is now a EvlonArts Ping Group
there's a pretty easy way to do that!! look up the current price for a 100 credit gift card. the standard recently went up to 4.4 mil sp to 100 csc. 100 csc is literally $1 usd, so that gives you a super simple conversion rate at that point. so, yeah, you would be correct.
there is a pretty solid market for animal art here, canine and otherwise, so don't worry too much about that. the general market seems to deeply appreciate original art of their characters, rather than reference sheets, but keep an open mind and you should be just fine.
Thanks for the reply c:
I was hoping teh USD=CSC would be that simple
(I've been on games though where the donation currency was valued at less than the purchase price, it was odd)
Ah, so the sP prices would just be kinda in flux instead of stable, I can live with that though, since it's easy enough to look up what the current value on that item is c:
And thanks for the feed back on what seems to sell better here. Honestly I enjoy doing original art pieces more than ref sheets, but I always just default to which ever is in more demand, if they happen to be the same, yay :D
I'll be way happier if there's more variation than dog, dog dog, wolf, dog LOL (I love dogs, but dragons and cats are funs too)
Does 300CSC seem about right for a sketch then? sketch quality example c:
Omg I love the saluki on your commission chart. I think I need a picture of my dog (he's a Longhaired Whippet) if you decide to open op an art shop on here :D
Is he the fab boy on your side image? Because I'm highly jealous ;-;
And I do indeed plan to open here! Right now I'm working to finish commissions & work on holiday art for people, on top of overhauling my portfolio website so I don't want to over load myself with more commissions just yet XD
I actually really love drawing sighthounds, they are so leggy, I want one ;-; (I have huskies in RL instead haha XD ) I did a windhound a while back and they are semi-similar to longhaired whippets c:
@ Evlon
Yes, thats him. His name is Johan :) And I really don't want to rush you or anything. I just wanted to show my interest in your lovely art^^
Oh haha, well huskies are very active as well. I love the temper of sighthounds and I don't think I'll ever own anything else than sighthounds. My biggest dream would be a Borzoi but LHW are size-wise just perfect for apartments.
XD I love my huskies, but they arn't the most trainer friendly babies. I also have two terrier/mini poodles and the fact that they listen to training is so nice ;-; (husky do what husky want, unless treat!) I'd love an ibizan or windhound honestly, but any of the larger sighthounds would just be awesome (I live on a huge open acreage, so size is no issue 8D )
oops, sucky internet made that double post somehow!
Johan is a very smart dog. He knows a lot of tricks and he loves to learn BUT he only wants to train when HE wants to. He in fact is definitively not a Border Collie or Australian Shepherd but thats totally alright with me. We also used to make Agility until two years ago but we stopped training because of the lack of motivation he has sometimes (but tbh I actually really like the fact that he has a mind of his own, even though training can be very frustrating sometimes^^)
XD my two boys, I trained for cart pulling and some other various things, but there's a lot of issues with off leash training inherent in huskies (from my and loads of other husky owner exp :c ) Honestly, I don't mind some training challenge with dogs, it just takes patience c:
My boys are also very smart.. at getting out of yards! XD Husky proofing the fencing was such a pain, but worth it to not have them hit by a car or something terrible :c The two smaller dogs I have are off leashed trained, and it's so much more fun to take them out and do photography, and not worry about them getting loose :c
But yeah, some year I'll have room for another dog! (hopefully not soon though, because that'd mean loosing a babuh D: ) And a sighthound, cur or briard are pretty high on my list honestly. It'll depend on what is up for adoptions in the area though, because I also want to just adopt a dog, not a puppy, a 2+ year old dog XD
Do you have a ping group? Your art is gorgeous!!!
Hoarding:
2986/??? (turns out I haven't updated in a while. Whoops!)
Thank you anon ;_; x10 March 4/21/21 (RIP Storm-buddy the leopard gecko- you lived a great 16.5 years.)
I think I may make one, I was considering it c: I actually started to make a sales post today since I finished off a large chunk of my commission list but my internet was a butt and said no XD
[edit] It was easier than I thought to make one, so now there is one! :D
EvlonArts Ping Group (I'll add it to the top post too) (pinging since you also expressed interest in my future sales c: )
