how many sites like subeta can you go on, accidentally price a madly expensive item and forget not just ONE, but TWO zeroes--then have that item bought and sent back with a message from the buyer that says, "I think you made a mistake here!"

I know sniping is a way many people play this sort of game, but still.

There was an error that MKBs were being autopriced to a 3-digit number. I didn't know this, someone bought my MKB and sent it back to me explaining the glitch!

Wow, this just warms my heart to know that people can be so wonderful, and I agree that they are amazing. I got an anonymous gift the other day from someone who saw a post of mine where I was talking about some rough times in my life. It is always hard for me when I can't thank the person who sends me an anonymous gift, but as they say "it's the thought that counts" and the note with that gift was so kind and caring!!

I'm always amazed by the kindness and generosity of people on this site. Since I came from Neopets, where 90% of the people are jerks, and even the nice ones will be like, "sux to be you!" for an accidental misprice... it's really refreshing that people here are the opppsite.

Did you post in the "anonymously gifted" thread? It's not guaranteed that your gifter would check there, but they just might. :)

Thanks for telling me about that thread, I was unaware of it. Until they opened the forum shop I rarely posted on any. Now I just want the points, and I'm saving them til they put a book or two in that shop, lol! :)

That's lovely ;; People on this site are too damn nice sometimes. When I first joined I got about 20 Welcome-To-Subeta gifts (with nice items too!!!) This community amazes me.

Ohh man Neopets (and also Gaia) I'm not sad to be gone from there. People here are much more ... I can't think of the word I want, but they're more like an actual community, they help each other out.

I once bought 2 of an item a user who accidentally priced them at 500k instead of 5 mil. when I tried to give them back she insisted I keep them. There are loads of super awesome people on this site and while sometimes there's a dink or 2 it's usually balanced out by far by the wonderful people here <3

The whole feeling here is so much more comfortable, I came from 12 years on neopets where I felt that giving things away was discouraged to say the least it was dog eat dog.

The first thing I noticed here was that people were so kind and supportive of each other .. quite a pleasant shock after neopets :D

people on subeta are very kind :D i come from neopets too. so i also experience the pleasant shock. it so different being newcomer here, where people send you gifts and constantly help you. where as there, you are discriminated. no, worse, you are treated like a criminal.

If anything I feel more welcome here than any of those sites. People here help one another and I really appreciate that. And I really love how I can go into a WL thread and give people what they've been desiring. I can understand the anonymous gifts, and when I get some they usually make me laugh or smile depending on how ridiculous they are, but I would really like to thank the people giving them to me! People here are really nice, and I feel like I am always welcome on the forums, something I didn't think last time I was on Subeta. It feels great.
