I noticed that a couple weeks ago Arvee.org stopped working.. Every time I went to the website it said it didn't exist. This was the one place I went to use the Subeta Avatar Maker. Does anybody know what happened to it or if it will be back up and running soon?

When they did a big item update i noticed the new items were not loading. That was earlier this summer. I dont see a need for that website because you can view all your items as well as find other items that you dont have in your wardrobe. I honestly didnt know people still used it. I just knew when the new items were not being added (and the website said they were being added, but never showed up) I knew the site would quit working soon.

It was useful for finding out who released CWs and for trying to preview any item on a skin you didn't have (especially before we were able to switch our skins out in the wardrobe).

But yeah, the items were added, just not correctly. I heard that something in a URL was switched so the overlays never showed on arvee. And it was like that for months so I'm not surprised, but I am a bit disappointed because it was nice to have available.

Im sad its gone, it was good for looking at items whilst wearing various skins, makeup, hair. The wardrobe here is fine, but I have to zoom my resolution in/out to see my HA when I get to the bottom of a list which does get annoying.

Basically the hosting was up, and as the owner hasn't had time to fix the new updates there hasn't been a big reason to renew the site :(

Are there any other sites like it though? I absolutely enjoyed making avatars on there, and I'm so bummed that it's gone now!

I kind of can never make OCs again without the SoFetch-gen because I'm not artistically inclined, so if it doesn't come back up I don't know what I'll do. It's far more convenient to use than the gen here, since you can change your avatar's appearance without ACTUALLY changing its appearance, and has other nice little tweaks here and there. This has been discussed in two other threads prior; if money or repair/hosting help is an issue I'm sure the community would be willing to pitch in OTL

There used to be an alternative service at Subeta HQ, but that entire fansite is gone down the drain of the internet. I don't know of any other alternatives, and it's incredibly distressing and disheartening.
