Now that it's all behind us, I was wondering if people had any thoughts to share about the latest plot. I know some ppl thought it was not much of a plot, but I loved it.

If this should be somewhere else, please move it. Since the event is over there is no longer a forum grouping for Morostide related stuff I put it in General Discussions. I truly mean this to be an afterthought sort of thing.

I wonder if there were any thoughts about it after it was all over. I know that after we got all the rewards MY ideas about the outcome were confirmed. I won't say what I had suspected all along until I hear what others have to say. I don't want to lead ppl's thoughts by posting my own thoughts first. I'm looking for others to say what comes to mind (or what did a week ago when we got the prizes) about the plot, the story, etc.

Did anyone predict what was going on, and were you on target or not? I think it would be fun so see what ppl were thinking about it, both during and after.

I always thought Jaxon was a vampire. Or just a surly secretive dude that minded his own business the rest of the year, haha. BUT, it's nice to see another side of the otherwise grumpy king of the patch. Also really, really loving the sad idea that he disappears for the rest of the year, poor Ian and Jaxon. D: But I love how it touches upon how seriously he takes the holiday, that he pretty much represents the last bit of traditional Morostide.

The games were kind of simple, but it wasn't frustrating at least. I didn't find the actual legwork interesting (even if bustin' makes me feel good), but I always found myself eagerly waiting for Ian's next announcement in the News to hear about what happened next. :O The plot steps were simple, but easy enough to catch up quickly. So even if the actual work was kind of boring (but I loved the escape the room part near the last days), the plot kept me interested and eager for each update

I didn't expect the romantic aspect, but it's really appreciated that it wasn't too obvious, but wasn't "queer baiting" where it's like "lol they could be but they're just bros better luck next tiem".

I adored the plot items, so many cool wearables, books and a cute shoutout to fully canonize their romantic relationship. Was gleefully surprised to have 50+ items slap me in the face, did NOT expect so many glorious goodies.

You're such a good writer and you expressed everything so well in your post--concisely, and you covered just about everything I can think of. I want to respond specifically to some of the things you said, but I've been sitting up (at a desk, in an uncomfortable chair) for more hours than I want to admit. (OK I'll admit it, I've been here a bit over 9 hours, ouch) so it's time for phase 2 of my day which is to rest on my bed and watch DVD's til I'm ready to sleep.

I usually pop out to my comp every few hours to check and see if anything is happening here (or if I sold something in my shop) until I get to the point of sleep time.

So, I have to play a couple more games of Tubular Tiles, that's how compulsive I am, lol, and then I'm going to lie down. I'll post more later (after I sleep) and I'll also respond to that other ping from the thread that you started.

It's cool that you're in a time zone that's even earlier than I am. Usually I'm the last one standing here (with the exception of the lovely folks from Europe, Japan and Australia). But as far as ppl from the states, SO many of them are in time zones that are 2 or 3 hours ahead and there aren't that many vampires such as myself who sleep during the day.

Well most ppl have work, school, kids, etc, and I have none of that, so I can go with my normal rhythm. I was always an insomniac and I still am, but at least I can sleep when I want to and that has NEVER been at night. I don't actually like to sleep at all, it's such a waste of my time. I'd so much rather be able to survive w/out it!!! :)

Talk to you later if you're not busy. I'd like to hear more about that book you were reading and the essay!!
