So the shops are numbered, food market is 2, 3 was the holiday shop, 4 is the toy bin etc etc.
When I restock I just change the number at the top. Which works really well - except for the shops that don't exist. 7, 8, 13, 18, 33
I suggest that the shop URLs be changed so they are in order without any gaps - and the Free shop goes from 38 to 48 and Freyliese or whatever goes from 43 to 49.
It would make my life easier with restocking and I'd like it.

This isn't really how databases work, sorry.
[edit]
To clarify, tables like shops use auto increment which means that each new row is a new number. Meaning that it's handled automatically, and manually editing that information tends to mess things up.
Also: all of the items in our database (as well as anything that links to shops) points to that specific ID number in reference to wear the item should be stocking, and would need to be changed.
This isn't really feasible.

This is probably an oversimplification, but this is how i see it. I think of it as addresses to a house.
If one or two houses on a road gets burned down but not replaced, you dont renumber the houses on that street.
The addresses are tied to a lot of things (electricity/internet/phone/mail/etc) so you dont change them unless you tear down the entire thing and start from scratch.
I didnt think it was possible... But I was hopeful that maybe, maybe I could stop going to shop 7 lol.
Alright, Welp at least I asked! Feel free to close :)
