Hey all :) I have a couple questions regarding my current battle set, more specifically whether I should save up sP to buy a few weapons/scrolls which I have in mind - these are what I have btw:
Phoenix Quill Reviver of the Lion Recycle Blaster Soma Tablets Deluxe Death Shard Shinwas Temple Shard Natasha Paintbrush Blades
Skelly Scroll Terra Focujin Scroll Cobalt Eternal Scroll x3
Right now I am considering the following items but am unsure of their usability going forward - I only have about 10m sP right now and don't know whether to save up for any of these items or just spend them on boosters instead...
Oh yeah and speaking of bomb scrolls, is the Gale Force scroll any good for a bomb scroll? I do know that they are pretty useful for boss challengers and such, but are they worth the 75 EH tokens over getting the components for the freezing helm? (only have 42 atm) Or should I consider Morosbane/Lucky/don't bother getting one?
Here are my pet stats btw:
Level: 847 Health: 2501 / 2501 Strength: 2117 Defense: 2117 Speed: 2116 Intelligence: 968 Tier: 11
Paintbrush Blades are fine for now but I would be saving for a Trident. It beats Ether hands down and probably equal or better than Swashbuckle, not including the fact that any of your pets can use it. Rainbow Vortex would be better over the Shard if you have the sP spare to upgrade. Most of the time you'll only have room for one and it won't make a huge difference. I love my Thunderball and it makes GE / Malerias Kitty / Carereaper 10x easier to fight. But it's not essential and I hardly ever see them for sale. If you're going for a bomb I would choose it over Acorn Bomb. Personally I think Cobalts are a waste of time, although others will disagree. If you find they help a few more won't hurt if you have the AP. You won't need the Terra Focujin anymore. A lot of your AP in the future will be taken by scrolls you can win such as Psycho Smasher, Lucky, Gift of the Forj, Void, Shriek of Despair (maybe???). I would not worry about buying any others for now. Haven't really looked at Gale Force Scroll but I'd be saving tokens for the components, not the scroll. I imagine the freeze rate is pretty low which makes it a slightly better version of Morosbane but worse than Lucky.
Sure. The Trident heals 7% while Swashbuckle / PBB etc heal 10%. At your health that means 75 HP less per turn which over the length of a standard battle means maybe you will have to use your Phoenix Quill a turn earlier? I would say the difference isn't really noticeable. Most of the time it won't matter because you're going to use your healer whether you're at 1 HP or 200 HP or 500 HP. What you will notice is when the Trident's blessing activates. That's easily the best part of the weapon. Blocks all earth, magma and water for 3 turns. They are extremely common icons that opponents use and for the turns that it is up you'll be pretty safe.
