BUT I'd never seen a gallery thread everywhere, and I LOVE browsing users' galleries! So link away :D
I'll start with my balloon army: http://subeta.net/ushop.php?shopid=307725&cat=0
Currently I have every item with the word "balloon" in it except for a few CWs. I also collect items with balloons pictured on them, airship/blimp/zeppelin/whatever you want to call them items, as well as items with "balloon" in the DESCRIPTION (yes I am obsessed plus I was running out of items to buy). The POOF category is a gallery for my Drifblim plushie and OC, who is named Poof... he likes donuts and poof-related items.
That's a nice gallery. :) Mine is based on my favorite time of the year, Christmas.
RIP Mom, I love & miss you more than you know. Tell Dede hi.

There was a thread like this a while ago and it was in general discussion so I'll move it over there ^_^
I love your gallery! I collect snowmen in real life so I someday hope to have a snowman gallery here... I need to look through yours to add to my wishlist ;)
Thank you! :)
I've kind of slacked off and haven't checked that section of my WL in a while, but at Luminaire time I always need two of everything pretty much.
Happy weekend. :)

Omg, your balloon army is just adorable!! There's a bunch of awesome items in there I've never seen before. And it's all so nicely organised :D

Lol, you've inspired me to start organizing my gallery. :)

Aww thank you :) There are a lot more balloon items on Subeta than one would think ;)
lol I JUST reorganized mine... took a long time, but it's fun to browse by category :) Good luck!
I'm up to page 10. Have to take breaks so my shoulder doesn't knot up too much. :)
Oops, make that page 9.

That's an absolutely awesome gallery!! It's so fun to look at. I love pretty colors!!
It also is a great source of information. I just saw an item I'd never heard of in there:
I thought it would be very expensive, but I found quite a few ppl selling it for only 415K!!
I immediately bought one for MY gallery, which isn't actually a gallery for show. This is a gallery which is working toward the achievement of having all different items. I think the top tier is 25K. I already got the hoarding achievement for 45K items, but those didn't have to be all different. In fact, over time I ended up having over 90K items in there so I had to start removing some of the extras. It still has WAY too many things in it, but as of this moment it has 12502/15000 different items.
I don't know how to post a link, but I just renamed it tonight. It was called Recycle it, but now it's called Unique--12500/15000.
This is a very cool forum thread, thanks for starting it.
Thanks! Glad I could help with an item you hadn't seen before :D I haven't even tried to start on the hoarding achievements yet...
BUT I'm about to start looking through your gallery for items to put on my wishlist :D I love looking at item lists and picking out stuff I want. I'm always hoping to find a balloon item I don't have :)
You're very welcome. I have a LOT to look through so that could keep you occupied for some time, have fun!
I have a gallery of books (Mainly Books) and one for Morostide and one for my hoarding achievement (it's called unique something or other--I just renamed it and it has a number count in the title so I update that every day, which is why I can't remember the exact name of it).
None of my galleries are in order. They all have stuff in them that doesn't belong there, but eventually I'll get them organized.
I'm on page 38 of Unique :D Haven't found any balloons I don't have, but I've added lots of other fun stuff to my wishlist :) I'm working on a winter HA, so your gallery has given me some ideas of wearables I want!
Oh wow, page 38, that's impressive!! I'm glad you're finding fun thing! I don't even know how many pages are IN that gallery. Most of that stuff is going to go up for sale once I get the achievement. I keep hearing they're going to retire the hoarding achievements. I might feel relieved, lol.
I WAS going to stop at 10,000 unique items and then I found out they had added new tiers. So now I'm (obviously) headed for 15,000. It seems that I add anywhere from 25 to 50 new items each day. I find them when I'm doing quests and stuff. If I have enough energy I'll do extra searches as well.
For instance if a quester asks me for an arid pherret plushie, then after I finish that quest I'll look for ALL the pherret plushies. If I were organized I would look up every type of plushie and beanbag by species and color. There are probably many I'm missing. By using subetaLodge a person could just keep putting key words (such as balloon) and finding everything that has that in it.
The problem with that is that when you search by using a word you get EVERY item that's a CW as well as the other items and that gets sort of annoying since you don't know they're CWs til you look them up. Oh well, I LOVE subetaLodge, so I'm not complaining.
Good luck on your search!!
When you are ready to sell, please keep me in mind! You have a lot of things on my wishlist! Some day I'm going to have to start looking up the plushies and beanbags myself because I do the collections in the games section. I've finished pumpkins and am working on trading cards now; I got the profile trophy yesterday. The other collections have so many items, plus the stickers require someone else to stick them on me, so I don't know if I'll ever finish those!!
And I used SL to find most of my balloons :) I'm even collecting the CWs because I've got nearly all the normal items. I also have mini galleries for snowmen, smiley face items, and Dark Matter, so your gallery is helping with those too.
WOW, you're a busy bee with all of those collections. I lost an account (it was three yrs old) that had 2 or 3 awesome galleries that I put a LOT of time into. I could never get motivated to do those again. It's much too sad.
I'll try to keep you in mind, but I HAVE no brain. Three yrs ago I already felt as if someone had shot me in the head from stress and trauma (a LOT of things had happened, many big losses) and then 6 wks after moving into the apt I'm in now, my husband literally dropped dead in the living room. So that pretty much ended my brain power and memory. We weren't even unpacked.
He was only 55 and I'd only had a little over 4 yrs with him. I was devastated and in shock and I've never been the same since. I doubt I ever will be. Then I lost my subeta account a week or two after he died. It was all very awful. I'm disabled so my life isn't very much as it is. He WAS pretty much my whole life. I never had kids with my first husband (just didn't happen) and now I'm an "old" woman with no children and no grandchildren.
People tell me "you can volunteer with kids" and I just want to slap them. It's not the same as experiencing motherhood. I also am not really able to leave my apt anymore unless I absolutely have to. I had SO many traumas in my life that I have had undiagnosed PTSD since I was a teen, and finally (I think) it's officially on my list of conditions. I have a physical one that I've also had since I was born which results in pain, a lot of pain. So, I've been pretty unhappy, and being addicted to subeta is one of the few things that sort of takes my mind off of real life.
Obviously it doesn't fully take my mind off of it, cause here I am talking about it again. I never had any closure when he died, and a LOT of things never happened that usually happen when someone dies. Nobody came to help me, nobody brought food over...I was just here all alone with my grief and a LOT of fear about how I was going to get by w/out him. Since we were both on disability we hadn't gotten legally married, which is common. But I never thought he was going to die so young.
I was left with debt and a newly signed lease (I DID get a subsidized housing voucher about 6 months later) and my household income was cut in half, yet I had no widow's benefits AND once they carried him out of here his adult children were in charge of the rest. If they had a memorial or funeral they didn't invite me.
In fact his son came over here to get some important paperwork that he needed and I gave him a bunch of other stuff of his dads, and then he stole Joseph's computer from me when my back was turned. It was legally MY property since we had purchased it as a couple AND it wasn't the material value that he took from me. He took ALL our photographs and all the love notes I'd written Joe with every gift I gave him from subeta (a LOT, and Joe saved all of those in word documents with images of the item)
We played on our computers the way that most ppl watch TV so it was a HUGE loss to lose that comp, it was VERY personal. Oh well, I didn't mean to go ON about it. Sigh! The anniversary of his death is on Jan 8th and we moved into this apt on Thanksgiving day, which was the 27th three yrs ago, so the holidays loom with bad memories. I don't like this time of year at ALL.
If you need someone to stick you with your stickers I can do that, as long as its only a few at a time. I get easily overwhelmed. When I say a few, I mean a batch of 10, and maybe once or twice a week. I don't collect stickers or any of those things. I don't like it when ppl stick me with stickers because I'd rather have them for my galleries.
Here's mine: http://subeta.net/ushop.php?shopid=270486
It's a wide variety of stuff, hence the number of categories. I wish I could create more than 20 categories...
