I have read the info here on scrolls and tried to get my head around which one is the best one to start with but am still confused.

I havent been here long but have been training hard and now have (probably puny lol)

She is Tier 3

You can try the Singed Stuffing Scroll. It's cheap, does some icons, and has a 4% heal or something. There's the Divine Denizhen Scroll too but it's more costly, it blocks 3 of each icon and heals 5%. You can look into getting one or two Cobalt Eternal Scroll too. These scrolls I mentioned don't take up much AP but are pretty handy.

thankyou for your help :) I have just bought the singed stuffing scroll, I looked for the Divine D scroll but there were none listed for sale..so Im guessing they are a bit out of my reach just yet, but thats ok.

Im not sure if I should be trying to make or buy the cobalt eternal scrolls? They are about 9 or 10 million so I could consider those as my next plan

the dd scroll can be made with the right ingredients but i'm pretty sure the ss scroll is still cheaper. the cobalts can't be made, they can be bought from the mil center http://subeta.net/explore/milcenter.php

The Telson Scroll might be a bit better for a pet your size. It heals 15hp, deals a little fire damage and is multi-use. :) You grow out of it quickly, but it's my go-to with smaller pets until my other scrolls heal a better %.

soothing current is quite a nice healing scroll :) Heals 8% of your total health and is unlimited use.

Sorry for all the advice, hah, I'd personally consider skipping the Soothing Current and progressing to a scroll which will last you for the duration of your battle career; the big two are Terra Focujin and Holy Deluge. Terra Focujin offers 4 earth and 10% heal for 8 AP, while Holy Deluge offers 4 light, 4 water attack and 3 fire, 3 earth defence and 10% heal for 20AP.

I use Holy Deluge as it was a bit cheaper to make - total cost of ingredients is about 23m (including a Tome of Water at 3m; you might get lucky and get one of these through turning amulets you find on the ground/from Quentin), but AP can be really expensive, so your call. The Terra Focujin costs about 33m to make at the moment. Of course, armed with this knowledge, you might be able to negotiate a better price for either ready made.

I like the sound of investing in something that will be used into the future because Im sure I will be continuing to train and battle.These two scrolls will be on my 'to buy' list as soon as I get the shop till achievement out of the way .. frustrating but worth waiting I suppose as my pet is hardly a big hitter atm anyway lol

Well no problem! I know it can be a lot to take in at first, but you soon pick things up. :) And your pet will grow faster than you'd imagine if you keep up with the training!

And yeah, I prefer knowing I have something that lasts compared to a stopgap. Of course, you can sell your stopgap, but it's effort. :P Either a Holy Deluge or Terra Focujin will be a marked step up (I'd buy one, not both as they're so similar (forgot to include 10% heal for the Holy Deluge in above post, kinda major haha)) from your Telson/Singed Stuffing.

Percent healers are of value later on in your pet's battling career, but when your pet's tier 3? No. The "it's gonna be useful for you later" argument just doesn't wash . A fixed 15 HP heal is the same as a ten percent heal if you only have 150HP (which my tier 3 pets do). You also may want to cram other things in your pet's brain that the bigger scrolls will prevent you from doing.

Telson is better and markedly cheaper. Champion which is only 4AP doesn't do any icons damage but it is also make-able which Telson is not. It also heals 15HP and if you are using a number of cobalts eternal or some bomb scrolls like Inferno you may need the 1 extra AP room in your pet's brain. If you are fighting an opponent that does a big spread of icons then Denizhen might be worth making (or have someone make it for you, since you have the AP to use it but not make it) but the fixed-heal of 15HP will often be better as you won't be able to put much oomph into those blocking icons with the defense score a tier 3 pet has.

Thanks for the in depth info I hadnt even realised there was a limit to the amount my pet could handle in its little brain lol but it does make sense.
