Heya,

Newbie here. I just joined about ten minutes ago and completed the tutorial, but it's all a bit overwhelming. Any tips you can give me?

Also, I have a feeling I started an account a few years ago but I've forgotten the username, as I only played for a week or two. Is there any way to find that out?

Welcome to Subeta! I've been playing for a month now and I really like it, although you're right- it i very overwhelming at first! Honestly it still kind of is. There's so much to do on here! I feel like I could play all day and still find some things I didn't try out. Everyone here is extremely friendly and helpful so if you ever find yourself with a specific question just ask- someone will be able to help you.

The best advice I got when I joined Subeta was to add this page to your bookmark tabs on the right side of the page (hit the little + on the top right to add it): http://subeta.net/forums.php/read/9302/ That page has a list of things to do daily, information about games and current events.

The best way to make points is questing, though, for sure. Generally I wouldn't spend more than about 40k per quest unless it's Sagittarius, and with him I don't spend more than 250k. Cinthia and The Library don't pay out very well for me so with them I don't spent more than 30k or depending on my mood 25k. Of course that's all up to you. Games pay out well too! You can play each game up to ten times a day.

Reiterating that the quests are a must if you want to earn money quickly. We should be having a our Fireside holiday coming up in a few weeks so keep an eye out for that. Fill out a wishlist so senior members of the site can gift you! And if you plan on spending any money in the cash shop, I would recommend waiting for black Friday when they'll have some good deals :)

A wishlist is a good idea. If you encounter anything you like or want, just hover over the item image and click the 'wishlist' word that pops up =) There are tons of people on here who love helping out new players by sending them items they want.

http://www.subetalodge.org/ is a great website for finding items, viewing pet color options and getting cool layouts for your user profile, shop page or pet profile.

If you want to keep your pets fed without having to buy food for them constantly, you can put them in the resort here http://subeta.net/explore/resort.php
