My main battle pet is Tier 8. (Although I also sporadically train my 22 other pets, so any advice that flexes to them is also welcome. I have quite a few Tier 7s.)

By default, I generally have the DDS for a freezer, One Ring as a healer, STS, Malice, Rapier of Error, War or Mirroring Shield, and then... idek. I'm coming back from a two year-ish hiatus, so I'm a little out of the loop, to say the least.

I also have an extensive wardrobe and so there are probably few decent wearable weapons hiding in there/my vault/treasure chests.

Default scrolls are currently Poisonous Barrage (7), Terra Focujin (8), and Cobalt Eternal (8). 28 alchemy points currently available, but I'm always upping that.

I've been gone so long that I have no idea what's been upgraded or downgraded, let alone what's all shiny and new (to me, at least). Basically, I'm looking for a little advice on upgrading my set, what I already own that's still good to have, and any advice as far as modifying weapons goes? (I went on hiatus when that system was still pretty new.) I don't mind paying up for some higher priced weaponry/scrolls (I like having goals to work towards), so long as it will continue to be useful as Denali levels up, and I probably also have various old event points laying around if those are useful (Reading Drive, Omen Islands War, etc etc, I can't even remember what all).

DDS, STS, The One Ring, Malice, Rapier of Error, Recycle Blaster and occasionally the 2 shields are still good. Terra Focujin and Cobalt Eternal are still good. For weapons if you have a Trident of the Banished One hidden in your wardrobe then that would be ideal. Or maybe you have something like a Large Gutting Knife, Prodigy Staff, Rainbow Vortex? Any / all of those would be good. First weapon you should look to get is a Phoenix Quill. Will be better than The One Ring now but you can use them in the same set. If you have spare RD points then Reviver of the Lion is the best thing to get. If you still have spare after that then Soma Tablets are good. If you don't have a Trident then Replica Minotaur Knocker is a handy weapon. It scales with your pet's tier so all your pets will be able to use it. It's a prize for completing the latest bobblehead collection and from memory it's pretty cheap to complete. Your scrolls will be fine for now, most additions will come from battle loot prizes as you get stronger.
