This applies to people who take art commissions, or those who sell finished pieces. Drawings, web design, handmade items, anything.

I know that deciding how to price your work can be incredibly difficult and frustrating and the topic has been discussed a lot. I was thinking about my own art today and just became curious to know how some other artists felt about their art and prices. I guess there isn't a poll option now, but which of these descriptions is most accurate for you? Feel free to elaborate/write your own answer.

  1. I believe my prices match my art's value and I am content with them.

  2. I think my prices match my art's value pretty well, but I would raise the price if I thought it would still sell.

  3. I don't think my prices match my art's value but I don't think it will sell enough if I raise the price.

  4. I think my prices are actually high for my art but it sells.

  5. I am completely confused about how to price my art and what it is worth.
