Hi guys :) I'm looking for some set advice for my T9, now almosttt T10 pet!
I currently have these weapons: [edited] this is my usual set:
and these scrolls: [edited] Cobalt Eternal x5 Heavens Cannon Holy Deluge Terra Focujin Fatal Fire Fiery Death Gelaspell
I normally have attached a Gelaspell, 3 Colbats and my Terra Focujin. Working on boosting intel so I can have more attached at once. :)
Get a when you can, you'll need it for the rest of your battling career.
thanks, I'll keep an eye out for one. Do you know how much they usually sell for? :o
@ Xealias yesss I got one :D very happy with it, been able to beat The Gatekeeper a couple of times now. :) Thanks for the great advice.:)
[edit] Level: 647 Health: 1606 / 1607 Strength: 1610 Defense: 1605 Speed: 1578 Intelligence: 907 Tier: 10
YAAAAAAAS! :D finally!!! :)
I'd say the priority is to back up your Bludgeon of Mass Extinction with another decent healer, as it'll really help you buffer the damage. To replace either the Item Hunter Bomb or UltimaPlus Tag. The Malignant Rift Staff is probably the most affordable, decent tier 9 - 11 weapon. The Unstable Sample Syringe might be worth checking out as a step up, with a reliable magma and ice block (unfortunately both icons are not that common). They've sold in shop search for 50m before and there's a few in trades - I'm not sure you'll get one that cheap, but you should have room to haggle. The Plague Claw is a much cheaper, but weaker, alternative, but could definitely work as a stopgap.
Also consider picking up Soma Tablets, which should set you back the same amount as the Reviver of the Lion. Also comes from the Reading Drive Shop. It's like an additional Recycle Blaster, with the bonus of being able to freeze and steal, and also inflicts a curse and a blessing. It's a great utility weapon that can help soften up the bigger opponents. :)
Thanks for your help! :) I just bought the malignant rift staff, but I feel like it will become more useful once I get to tier 11 and the heal is permanent. I'll definitely keep the Soma Tablets in mind for when I have a bit more sP to spend. :) You currently have 1,981,715 sP! :/
Yeah, it really does start to shine at tier 11 (especially against opponents with blessings disabled, like Saggi) but the heal should help soften the bigger hits you're going to face. Mod it with Parched Baguettes/Blessing of the Natural Armor, depending on your budget, for the anti-freeze blessing. Should help against challengers like Gatekeeper, General Error, Sandragon... basically everything t10+. :P
I took your advice and added the Natural Armour mods. :) I still can't beat Sandragon, ugh. xD Buuuut, I just tried the Gatekeeper again and I managed to get my 5th win! :D so happy, wasn't frozen even once. :p victory dance
You Won!
You have defeated The Gate Keeper 5 times!
The Gate Keeper drops:
Gatekeeper Peeper
Gate Keeper Forehead Gem
Destroyer earned 985 EXP Points!
You earned 2953 sP for beating The Gate Keeper!
Congrats! :) Great job on the wins. Sandragon might be a bit harder than GE and Saggitarius, not sure. Might be easier to fluke a win against GE as his health is so much lower. Switch the Gorgun in if you give him a go - freeze him on the first turn and try to get the blessing up to stop him from freezing you. You'll be in the best position if you freeze him and he doesn't freeze you; it'll give you a bit more room to breath. But that requires a bit of luck, so might take a few losses to get there. Your pet is definitely capable of wins, though!
@ Thomas Thanks! :) I might leave Saggi for a little while but I did try him quite recently and got him down into the red before he annihilated me, haha.
You Won!
You have defeated General Error 1 time!
General Error drops:
500HP Healing Potion
Sql
Destroyer earned 2500 EXP Points!
well, that was fairly painless :O First try, too. No luck on a second kill yet, my blessing isn't activating and he keeps stealing my weapons. -.- And he always freezes me on the first turn without fail so far. If he comes up in BQs I will definitely give him a go now though! :D Had no idea my pet could get a win on him, I thought he was going to be a lot more difficult to beat. Getting just that one win against him was such a satisfying feeling. :)
edit: i take back what i said about beating him in BQs. jeez. he is certainly not easy! now realising my first win was a huge lucky fluke xD
