I've only recently realized that I should really be playing Balloon Hunt as often as it would let me. Most times I get nothing, but every few plays I get something fabulous. I just got:

It seems like, after setting an alert, you can play every 10-15 minutes? I haven't timed it, but it is a very short waiting period. And when I DO win, it's an elixir, or a SubQ item, or something equally as nice.

Do you take advantage of this game? If not, you really should be.

edit: Timed it twice and got 13 minutes both times.

Me either! I should say, I had never noticed how often it could be played. I loved getting the occasional awesome item, but I had assumed it was a once-a-day game. Definitely far from the truth!

I'm SO exhausted and SO need to go to sleep that I can't even think where that game is. Would it be at the carnival, and where IS that? Is it at the beach? I should be leaving soon, but let me know what/if you get anything. :) I guess I'll try it, too.

So, that's 13 minutes. I started the timer again to see if it varies.

I noticed that link after I posted about where I thought it was, lol. (and I found it on my own, which is good for my brain)

So I only played 3 times in a little over an hour, cause I got distracted with Saggi and then a phone call, my point being that I could have played 4 or 5 times by now, so I'd have better data...

OK I just got the alert again, so make that 4 times. I got nothing the first 3 times and just now I got 300HP Healing Potion

and 10,976 sP... so that's halfway decent. It's selling for 25K right now and I didn't have one, so it goes into my hoard of 12210 unique items.

I will have to continue this experiment after I've had some sleep. I've been up for 23 hrs after less than 4 hours of sleep. Subeta is SO addictive, lol. :)

I feel as if I want to search for (or start) a new thread about the Saggi buffs but since this is YOUR thread and you're not going to report me to a mod I will go off topic and say that I only did 5 Saggi quests and I made 663K, so imagine if I'd had the energy to do all 15? Maybe I'll be awake before 9 PM (my time, 3 hours behind subeta midnight) to do a few more.

Oh that's cool, RE: the contest. I wanted to enter that, but circumstances weren't optimal. I didn't have any hope of winning, I simply wanted to get whatever prizes they gave. What else DID you get? I try to buy things that I don't have (if they're not too expensive) and there are ppl who sell everything, so usually I can find things. I wish I knew a way of simply looking up something like "items given away for the pumpkin carving contest." Is there a way to do that on SubetaLodge?

Now back to the topic. I played the balloon game about 25 to 30 times over the past couple days (I think) and I only got 3 prizes. I usually lost 5 to 8 times before I got anything. There was one item that was selling for about 120K and I can't remember what it was now. The other two were OK. I guess I'm not as lucky as you, and I was playing it the way you suggested: every time I was able to.

I don't have 100's of thousands worth of Wizard tokens because I rarely do quests, but I DO buy tokens now and then to make sure I have them when I need them. I guess if I did the quests all the time I probably wouldn't mind playing the games that require tokens. Well it was a fun thing to try and I'm glad I gave it a whirl. Maybe once this even is over I'll try it again! :)
