If you have merged any shops together, you may have experienced duplicate items
We are working on a better fix for this, but there is now a quick and easy "Remove Duplicates - Restack Items" option on the "Edit Shop" page in each shop
Note that the fix will sum the amount across all duplicates (ex - if you have an Orange twice with one stocked as six and another as four, then it will delete both and create one new row with ten as the amount). The price will also be reset to zero to avoid any conflicts.
We'll roll out some new changes in the future that will prevent this from happening when merging but we've seen an influx of tickets lately and we wanted to bust out a faster fix before we drill down deeper into it.
Thanks for the help and understanding here
Oh wow! We've wondered what was causing this. Thanks so much for fixing it!
read above. :)

What was the question?
WOW, I didn't know this was a feature. That's pretty cool.

I think he is referring to items being moved over to an existing shop when you delete a shop. Previously, if you deleted a shop all the items would be deleted too, but now you can choose to have them move to another shop.
That's even better to know. I try not to delete shops because I was always worried about that.

I take it this is just the listing of the two shops stocks just not merging together properly? And not like... Actual illegitimate duplicated items, right?
Oh that is really neat thank you for the clarrification
Awesome, thanks so much for this information been wondering about those.
Great! Thanks! It will make it a lot easier now. :)
I guess most of the users didn't even know you could do that, but good to know now, I've always been too lazy to remove items and afraid of losing them when I wanted to delete a shop.
I didn't even know shops were merge-able I just knew that I was on a quest and a shop with the cheaper item had a display only and a regular priced item so I couldn't get the item from them cry.
