I would like some help with my battle pet Qahnaarin. He should be able to handle opponents like Organ Collector without much of a struggle but I found myself having a tough time getting my 5 wins. I had to go out and buy two new additions to my armory to achieve it. I started to realize then I needed a bit of help. Can anyone give any weapon suggestions (with mods if possible) and possibly some later level stat suggestions for my pet Qahnaarin? His stats so far are even. I will also post what I have in my armory, what scrolls I have, what items are in my vault, and links to my weapons and tears in my shops so you can see what I have already.

Thank you, but I have finally got my 5 wins in just would like some advice on how to keep this from happening again. I would like to challenge the opponent up from him that's for Morostide but I know with all the weapons and things I have now I can't accomplish even that if Organ Collector was this bad for me now.

@blackwolf_2009 I use the for T6/7/8 pets, it's really amazing. I'd suggest you get at least a and/or , having both would be ideal.

Also here's a guide for Umbrus if you want to give it a try.

@blackwolf_2009 I'm a laurs battler.

I love my combined legendaries. The extra eight mod slots are like having an additional weapon of my choosing, and you can boost them to semi-godly at the cost of using a slot for a Sentinel (plus the curses from the Sentinel can help you crack opponents who turtle)

I'm a laurs battler =D but I'm a smash and dash battler so Im not sure how much help I can be. To me your basic kit must have a healer or two if possible, a full blocker in case yall get into trouble, two main attackers, a freezer/freezer bomb and stealer if you can steal from your opponent.

So I totally agree with Ike and Xealias. I'm also by no means an expert. If you're looking into taking on the seasonal opponents did yall check out 's battle blog on tumblr? http://ultimatefriend352.tumblr.com/

There might be some helpful hints there.

@blackwolf_2009 The Twisted Rift Blade is awesome for tier 7. That together with the Reborn Icewand of Doom could be your two main attackers. The Phoenix Quill is one of the staples that you'll use no matter which tier you're in. Definitely keep the Malignant Rift Staff, it's awesome in the higher tiers. The Gorgun should also be in your main set, as a 100% freezer it's quite handy for getting a free turn at your opponent. This can later be upgraded to some other freezer like Deluxe Death Shard or Intricate Energized Helmet. Blasters can also be very usefull, they transform one of your opponents weapons into something useless. Recycle Blaster and/or Soma Tablets are the most used ones.

I would keep the Fruit Bone Dagger and Flayed Lord Breastplate. Everything else is mostly useless to you at this tier. So unless you have smaller pets which you also want to battle with, you can clean up your armory a bit and make it easier to find usefull stuff when you need it. Shinwa's Defense Potion is a booster if I'm not mistaken, not a weapon. So you can go ahead and use it on your pet to gain some defense points.

For scrolls, I think the Soothing Current and Perilous whirlpool are the most usefull ones (and Singed Stuffing too, but Soothing Current is better). All the rest doesn't ring any bells to me. So you might want to replace those with some defensive scrolls like Sancturia Exodin and Cobalt Eternal. The Morosbane scroll is also quite nice. Or maybe some scroll that has a chance to freeze.

Don't forget to use potions and pylonics! They can help you out by giving you an extra chance to freeze (Glaciating Pylonic and Mercurial Throwing Vial) or a turn to full block (Negating Pylonic). Check out some guide on what the other pylonics do, they might be the difference between a win and a loss!

Read everything yesterday but didn't get a chance to reply.

So use a Sentinel in combination of the combined legendaries?

I didn't even know he had a blog for this. -lol- I'll check it out sometime soon.

Yeah I have other pets I am currently working on too. They are on halt at the moment until I can level up Qahnaarin. I also plan on using that booster when I can't train Qahnaarin anymore.

I always forget to use potions. Idk why but I always seem to. >_<

@blackwolf_2009 Sentinel is Tier 8, so you cannot use it now, but planning ahead will help you. Even if you don't have it, two Combined Legendaries with defensive baguettes chocked in is a poor man's Paint Brush Blades. The CLs have defensive icons built in and mod crystals add to this. If you want healing then Divine Denizhen or the other scrolls other users have talked about here will do until you get to Tier 8.

Is Divine Denizhen a healing scroll? Is it better than Soothing Currents? Idk what all healing scrolls there are so.

@blackwolf_2009 in the Useful Battle Threads stickied in this subforum, there's a Complete Scroll List.

Divine Denizhen costs one more AP, it blocks 3 of every icon and does a 5% heal. Whether the extra 3% heal but absolutely no blocking the Soothing Current does is superior depends on your Defense stat versus your opponent and how likely they are to critical hit your pet. I found both of these scrolls useful, so you will have to trial-and-error which opponent you want to use which on.

To my mind, the cost of books read is small compared to the cost of a good weaponry set, and there's no Tier limit to how many AP you can have. Scrolls get used over and over again, so there's no reason not to stock up and now that there's Achievements for them there are probably a lot of them for sale at cost or cheaper.

Terra Focujin is the next healer up at 8AP it does 10% and a dribble of earth icons. My feeling the 2% per turn difference between it and Soothing Current is small when your pets are small but it adds up when your pets get more HP.

Yeah that would add up later. I will go take a look through the scrolls thread in a little while.
