Is anyone willing to make reference sheets for one or more of my characters? I am able to draw them well and describe them in text very well, but unfortunately making reference sheets in my weakness; there's something about the way that they're set out that confuses me. Lately, I have been thinking of ordering commissions of them, which I can't do without a sheet, so I have decided to ask someone else. I can provide written descriptions and pictures of them from various angles. If possible, I would like the sheets to have a front and back view, both with and without clothes, and a colour scheme.

Can I clarify what you're looking for? Are you looking for someone to put together a character sheet for you out of the images you've drawn, or to use your images as a reference to draw their own?

Presuming you want the artist to draw images using yours as a reference I could offer something, prices will depending on style and detail, I can go form something simple and sketchy like this LINK, cell shading like THIS or painterly like THIS. Though of course the more time the image requires, the more the whole ref sheet would cost.

Prices for a ref sheet containing info to your specs, a front and back image and a 3/4 OR side image and a head shot would be...

Base price for that style for front image. Half of base price for back image. Base price for side or 3/4 image. 25% for portrait

So in the coloured sketch style that would be £15+£7.50+£15+£3.75... call it £40

Depending on what you want it might be more or less of course.

As for the style, the simpler the better; plain colours with no shading would be best, I think.

Would a layout like this be okay, for the quoted £40? (may have to be altered slightly for the wings).

I would get the whole page sketched out roughly, with poses etc... planned, and when you've confirmed you're happy with the progress and layout I would require payment, I'll send an invoice to you as proof of purchase (so I'll need your email), and when payment is received I'll continue and finish off the image, I will still make changes to your specifications after payment.

Sorry to be a waste of time, but I'm kinda broke at the moment - I literally have about $300 in the bank now. I was looking for something in the $20 dollar range? But if that's short changing the artist, I'd rather do it myself than underpay someone.

Hey! :) Are you looking for something very anatomically-correct (muscles well defined, bone alignment etc) or more anime/cartoon like? Also, colored pieces for all the viewing angles or just one or two?

If it's going to be B&W sketches with just one colored viewpoint, $15 If you want everything colored, but more sketch-like or cartoony, $20 If you want it colored and obnoxiously anatomically correct, $30
