So, I'm not sure if this is a glitch or if I'm simply a rock-head. I just completed the next step in the plot, clearing out the ghosts from the living room, and I received the "The Quick and the Dead" achievement for clearing out 25 ghosts in 30 seconds or less. I did not, however, receive the "Shot in the Dark" achievement for clearing out 15 ghosts in 30 seconds or less. If I got 25, shouldn't it also have registered that I got 15? (I also found it a bit odd that both achievements reward the same prize, which made me wonder if you get one, can you not get the other?) Anyway, a little clarification would be greatly appreciated! :)
[Edit] Solved! I'm relieved it turned out it wasn't a glitch. Anywho, going to go ahead and lock this topic now. Or not, because I apparently can't lock the topic myself, even though the button is there. Weird.

Ah, good to know! Thank you for clarifying!
i had this same question. thanks for posting! glad its not a glitch!
Glad I found this post because I was wondering the same thing. Thanks for clarifying.
That seems... silly. Why can't they be one achievement, with two tiers, and the lower tier just gives out the prize. So, everyone gets the item, everyone gets at least one achievement, everyone wins.
Instead, we have a silly achievement sitting there that we can, in no way, achieve. Doesn't that defy the point of achievements?
I'm with you on that one - would rather have it be 2 tiers on the same achievement since now I have this glaring thing that I cannot get.
Exactly ^
Ugh, i kinda hate the part where you can only get one of the two achievements. just looks incomplete.
Oh well.
This puts a bit of a damper on my want to collect achievements. I mean, I guess it's only one less...
