I have run into this problem many times, and I know that there was a thread about it at one point, but now I can't find it. The issue is that when the NPC asks for items, half of the item name is covered up by the "Shop Search" button.

For example:

I have this issue too and hope it gets fixed. But I don't see how it makes a difference if you can see the full name or not, since you're most likely going to use the shop search button. Unless there's something I'm overlooking.

It might not hinder the searching for items, but it does look really unprofessional to have the item name cut off at the end. It seems like it should be an easy fix by just increasing the spacing a little bit on the page.

Firefox? I'm using Chrome and I've never seen that issue. I got long named items like... today earlier and it seems normal to me

I've seen that happen too on Chrome, Win7. And while most of the time I use the shop search button, sometimes I do want to copy and paste the name for an account search/vault search when I don't want to buy it from user shops.

I'm using Firefox, but I'm pretty sure I've run across the problem in Safari too. Not really a "problem", just more of an unprofessional look, which I'm sure the Subeta team wouldn't want to have.

Not sure if this works in Chrome, but in FF, you can triple click anywhere on the name, it should highlight the whole name for you even if part of it is hidden.

Yeah, I can do that in Chrome but it also highlights the "shop search". Here is what I get after triple-clicking:

Yuck, that's no solution! In FF is just highlights the name. Back when they first changed the layout of quests, for me it would copy a trailing blank space and that was equally annoying, so I do know how inconvenient it is, especially when you're rushing trying to get quests done.

I just wanted to give a small update to this issue. I use two different browsers, Firefox and Safari. I only see the shop search button blocking the item name in Firefox. It is not an issue in Safari at all.

I take back what I said... It appears that this is also a problem in Safari :(
