You get an alert for a thread you're subscribed to on the forums, even when you make the post P. annoying and p. useless

You don't get an alert if you don't delete the old ping I like to keep 2-3 of the threads I frequent in my ping/alerts so I can access them easily without a whole nother widget, and this is kind of annoying.

I'm assuming they are not intended to be this way, because they weren't like this before u_u;

I hate how these have been happening since the new forums. Would love if they were changed back if it was intentional x_x

The first point is definitely annoying, but I rather like the second. It means I'm not overwhelmed with alerts if there have been a lot of posts while I was away.

Oh, typically the old forums would only trigger a new alert once you had checked the topic in question xD So it wasn't like one alert per message while you were away or anything ^^

I have the problem that I can't even deactivate alerts for new posts in a few of my subscribed threads =( Even if I turn them off I get an alert for every post. Also for my own, which is really silly.
