Hello all. I make custom My Little Pony dolls, generally in the "show" style fashion, but lately I've been attempting to do make my customs a bit more like art pieces.

Those are so cool! What do you use to make them?

Gah, they're so cute! I never thought to use sculpey (that is sculpey or something like it, yes?) for the mane, tail, and accessories. I've seen people use doll hair for the mane and tail, but those are usually the other generation ponies I think. I might try some pony customs just for funsies. I'd like to make a fourth doctor pony and I could knit a tiny scarf for him. ^_^

I just take a regular pony toy and use sculpey for the mane and tail. ^^

I love seeing the ones with hair. I think they're beautiful. Some of those makers are so talented, I look up to them so much!

I don't think I'd have a snowball's chance of making something nice with the hair, but some people's work is just...damn. I really like what you've done with the sculpey. I actually make sculpey jewelry, so I'm thinking I might give this a shot. I have a friend who's a huuuge brony, so this would be a great Christmas gift for him.
