The effects of scrolls aren't always clear in their descriptions, and I'm only tier 2, so I'm not seeing them all. I've tried to look into other peoples' guides, but it all got a bit overwhelming with information that wasn't related to my main question.

Are there scrolls with freeze effects or heal effects? All the scrolls I've used so far are basically just defensive and assaultive. If there was a scroll with a healing power, the limit of one healer per weapon set would be a lot less inconvenience. Also, I don't want to risk using a fragile weapon that doesn't do much damage for, like, a %10 chance to freeze.

healing scrolls are usually %healers and infinite use.

let me know any questions you have, but I find that list pretty accurate and helpful

Healers: = 8% heal, infinite use = 10% heal, infinite use = 10% heal 8 offensive icons 6 defensive icons, infinite use

Freezers: = high chance of freezing, -3% heal, 75 wind def (once per battle) = high chance of freezing, -3% heal, 14-22 offensive icons 75 ice def (once per battle) = moderate freeze chance, 20-27 offensive icons, 9-15 defensive icons, infinite use = lowish freeze chance, 10 offense, some fire def (once per battle) = low freeze chance, 15 icons, infinite use

Soothing Current Scroll Divine Denizhen Scroll Terro Focujin Scroll Holy Deluge

There are much better dual duties scrolls but they are much more expensive. You should focus on getting either of the first three (holy deluge isnt as worth it if you dont have a lot of intel).

i'm not very well-versed in freezing scrolls outside of the ones you'll come across in the higher tiers, but i can give you some advice on healing scrolls.

one i recommend for lower tiers is the telson scroll. it deals 3-5 fire icons offensively while healing for 15 hp. right now it's running for under 200k, so it's a good addition to any beginner set.

alternatively, you could use the champion scroll, which also heals for 15 hp but deals no damage or defensive icons. it's also a bit cheaper, but not by very much.

both of these are infinite use, by the way.

the posters above listed some percentage healer scrolls, but those tend to work better when your HP grows a little higher. for now, you'll get a higher heal from champion or telson. soothing current, terra focujin and/or holy deluge will be excellent investments for the future, though.

psycho smasher is an achievement prize for beating general error 10 times, which is quite difficult making the scroll pretty expensive shriek of despair is in the same boat, expensive. I'd suggest gelaspell, though it takes like 18 ap or around there. perilous whirlpool and winter spirit should be fairly easy to make and cheaper, I can tell you the ingredients you need for both if you can't see them yet. it's definitely worth it to read as many books as you can to boost your AP up though if you're serious about battling in the future.

I'm mostly only doing the daily Battle Quests and skipping the ones my main fighter can't handle, so it's not worth TOO much of an investment, I suppose.

well do you plan on battling much in the future? being able to equip many scrolls at once gives you a large advantage especially later on. at tier 2 it won't matter a whole lot. if you plan on battling into tier 12 and want to be as strong as you can be, it's definitely worth reading as many books as you can and getting some scrolls you feel comfortable with right now, a healing scroll, a freezing scroll, and probably the rest defensive scrolls.

is pretty useful, like 40 icons offense, heals 300 hp, once per battle. price on it should be dropping if nightlady is a challenger for morostide this year and she still has it as a 5th win prize. it requires 15 AP to equip though.
