I can't find a suggestion thread for this; if there is one, please direct me there! :)
I would love it if items that are sold in Quest Shops and the Millionaire Center (perhaps others I can't think of) currently said that when using shop search, like it does when they are available in the main shops or Blue Building Shop.
I'd also love if the shop search didn't link to the CS Boutique for items that are no longer available for purchase there.
This would be great. :) It's a pretty helpful feature.
I'm not so sure about getting rid of the link for CS items, but it should state if the item is not currently available, like TS items do. I don't think they have that note at the moment.
The seasonal Millionaire Center items should be added too, with the same note for those that are not currently available. Permanent items seem to have the link to the shop (the MKB does, at least), so the rotating items should link there too.
Yes, please! Even battle loots and achievement prizes are stated, but not quest shop and MC D: Forum Shop and other shops also don't appear yet. So that could be a nice thing to be done.
Might as well, basically everything else shows up there. :)
Ah yes, this would be perfect- thank you for expanding!!
Would love this.
Hate buying something then realizing its much cheaper to just get it from the Quest Shop or something like that.
So my topic was closed and I was told to post here My entire original post below:
So today I came to a very weird discovery, I was searching for an item that restocks in the Millionaire Center and I just used shop search and it didn't show up as "This item can be found in these locations: Millionaire Center". But the item restocks in the MC and even funnier: apparently the item i was looking is in stock this very moment.
I found out that a lot items have a missing note on where they are available and I found that there are plenty wrongly advertised as available while they are out of stock. Half of the MC items have no notification that they are in the MC the other half is wrongly advertised to be currently in stock which isn't the case due to the seasonal rotation, a few exceptions are rightly categorized as in stock.
So that brings me to the point: consistency please. Give all active MC items (from all season rotations) the note that they restock in the MC. Give the currently available ones the note that they are available and give the ones that are in a different season rotation "This item can be found in these locations: Millionaire Center (not available right now!)"
The lack of consistency makes it confusing, is something available? Is something unavailable? where can i find something? Plus, it will prevent people from being ripped off, some mc items are priced twice as much as the official price in shops while they are currently available. And don't go all "use subetalodge" on me, because I shouldn't be needing a help website constantly open in another tab.
Examples: (there are way more, but that's not my job, i'm just here to make a point)
Uncategorized
Wrongly categorized: (a.k.a "without not available right now" note) Search results for 101 Things To Do With A Beach Ball This item can be found in these locations: Millionaire Center (= summer item)
Other place that needs this: the quest shop, forum shop

Supported ' topic before, still in full support!
Totally agree! Ugh, I regret paying so much for out of season items because it wasn't labelled. :(

Yes, please!
I completely agree with ! There was an OLD beanbag that was missing the note about being a token shop in the system that I only knew was a TS item thanks to Subetalodge. I think it may be with older items that were never tagged, but it would be great to get everything on the same page. :)
Yeah, seasoned users often take the time to search where certain items come from (thanks SL ;-; ) but it would be great if we had that information easily accessible on shop search, within Subeta. SL is fantastic but we should curb dependency a bit! also, think of the newbies
If there's a way to get those links to auto-update once an item is retired / goes back into stock, it'd be awesome for consistency and all that. If it's not possible, then it might be better to maybe reword the note to something like "This item is part of the stock of the following shop: (shop name + link)" so at least the person won't be misleaded and can check the real status of its availability within a click.
[edit] Still on this idea, it would be great if the link for CS CWs took people at least to the CS CW page, instead of the CS main page. If it could take them to the right layer, or even straight to the right item, it'd be even better. I know there are new system ideas in the pipeline, but while things are still working the old way, this would be helpful.
Quoting what I said in that other, locked thread.

Please yes! I fully support this suggestion!
I was just looking up the Charmed Witch Hats for revamp suggestions, and noticed one of those is missing its Token Shop note.
There are three of them. Two have the note to say they stock in the token shop, while doesn't.
Today again I got confronted with the lack of information on these more special items. Not knowing which items are in the forum shop might be a costy business since not many of these items are in circulation in shops and thus high priced.
Can we just pretty please have this?
