has anyone gotten to level 100?
Sure, lots of people. If you go to the game and click on the high score table, you will see 20 who have. There are probably more, but they only list 20 in the high score table.

If you reach the 100 can you still play or are you done?
- Last I heard/knew was that once you finish Item Hunt you finish it. But I've been told differently from others as well... so I'd check into it.

Sends you to level 50 no matter which level you are on. So if you complete item hunt use that tome and it will send you back to try again.
