HERE is my review of the book.

Yep, it is the third and final sequel to The Giver. I found out that The Giver had sequels a month or two ago (so if you're surprised of there being sequels to The Giver don't feel left out) and I bought all four books at once for my Kindle since I knew that I'd read them all even if they all turned out to be terrible.

In this book you mainly follow Claire who is Gabe's mother. And it's an interesting story until it gets to the third and final part of the book where it gets bad for a few chapters.

Plus of the book is that you finally find out what happened to the world. Downside is that it's not as good as it could've been and the reveal should've been earlier in the Quartet.

So have you read this book? If you have: what do you think about it?

Do you have any other Lois Lowry books you want to recommend to me :)

Also would love some sci-fi and fantasy recommendations :)

This was probably my favorite of the quartet. It's been a bit over a year since I read it, but I liked how it tied up all the loose threads of the seemingly unrelated previous books.

I haven't read many other modern dystopian/utopian books recently, but if you're just looking for general fantasy recs I'd have to go with anything by Brandon Sanderson. Particularly the Mistborn series.
