I'm not really sure which item I should purchase and would appreciate some advice. I have the Malice and Reviver of the Lion. I am looking at The One Ring, Truth Serum and Soma Tablets and I can only buy 2 of those items. My main battle pet is Tier 11 and my other two are Tier 6.

Soma tablets is definitely recommended as for one option. I feel truth serum would be good for the second option for the occasion where stealing actually helps you out. One ring is nice for tier 7 and 8 pets though, although it does get outshined by amulet of drakkonis in tier 11.

Thank you for your advice it is a big help. I will be definitely be getting the Soma Tablets then. Still not sure about which one of the other two items to get and have to think about them further.

Truth Serum is definitely more helpful than the One Ring, but I wouldn't class either as essential. You can only use either the Truth Serum or the Soma Tablets in a set and there are very few instances where I plump for the former. But there have been a couple of times. The One Ring really loses its shine later on, though, so if you aren't training another pet I wouldn't bother with it.

Is it still true that you can only attach 1 Malice at a time? Has The One Ring been downgraded since it first came out? I seem to remember that is was very good when first released. Sorry for all the questions but I haven't had much time lately to be online and feel I missed out on a lot, especially in the battling area.

You can only use one malice at a time and one ring still has the same stats as always. However, one ring/truth serum/soma tablets are all better than malice anyway. Truth serum is better than one ring for its universal span across all tiers. One ring won't be helping you much in tier 11 or 12. That's for sure.

Pretty much! 1000 straight heal is decent for tier 7, but when you start to build towards tier 12 you're probably going to be thinking about developing a bias towards health, which has linear returns on percentage heals vs the diminishing returns investments into strength and defence give you (each point in health increases the amount you % heal with your weapons and scrolls by the same amount; each point in strength and defence increases the amount of damage you deal/block by less).

My pet is a pretty typical example of the health bias you'll develop. And obviously, a 1000 heal isn't going to help much when you have 6750 points. It'd be better to stick with a full blocker or alternative % healer.

I do get the point you are making and appreciate your explaining this to me. I have to lurk around the battle forum more, I find that my battle knowledge is limited at best. Thanks again for your input.
