I pronounce it Su-beta as in beta testing, but Su-bait-uh is probably closest to how I pronounce it.

I had steak for dinner and an onion and tomato salad. I literally just finished and actually I did drink some tea earlier, but it's not quite the same because I'm not a fan of cream or any other dairy in my tea and I usually don't eat a meal with it. I do some times drink it after a meal and sometimes even with a pastry. If brewed properly, and it's not a generally bitter tea, I can drink it straight without sugar or anything added.

My granddaughter and I had Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup :D Yummmmmmm......

I had lo mein, sesame chicken, mushroom chicken, and fried shrimp with the heads and shell still attached for my tea..lol. I pronounce subeta similar to subway : sub-eh-ta / sub-wei See if that helps.
