I created this back account in 2009 when I was around 11, I think? Hence the weeby username. I'm creating this thread mainly to introduce myself, which I never did in all these years, and also because today I logged in for the first time in almost four years! Any tips? I found a really nice newbie guide I have yet to go through, but what are your personal tips? How to improve my HA, pets, etc? Does my HA look okay? I would say one thing that is helpful is to look through the ping groups and join ones that you are interested in. They are great for keeping up to date on certain things. When someone pings the group members in the Forums, you get an event with a link to that post. I belong to the group for new wearables, the group for when the Token Shop restocks, the group for when the Cash Shop Hustler restocks, etc. Some of them are super helpful and others are just nice to belong to, so you get a ping with info when something happens instead of having to look for the info yourself. There's even a group for when a celebrity dies, you get a ping.

Tyty! uvu Ohh, I will look into that, those groups look really useful! This may sound a bit weird, but I was wondering what kind of language isn't allowed on here? I'm going through the rules as we speak (I know, laame) and I kind of get the gist, except not really? Can we say words like gay, etc? I'm coming from neo where anything could get you frozen and you had to step on eggs just to talk to other people, so yeah...I guess I'm too used to their filters but I'm curious. Thanks again for the help!

I'm pretty sure all words are allowed, but I do not know if other languages are allowed? I know at one time, languages other than English were not allowed on the forums because there was no one to monitor what was being said. But I do not know if this is still the case.

Omg that's great! As for only speaking english on the forums, that's fine by me! That's pretty much what it said on the rules (no foreign languages on signatures, forums etc), and tbh I'm fine with that since I'm going to use this opportunity to try to improve my english skills. :B

Haha yeah that's one thing I love about the forums here. Much more freedom than other pet sites. I think the user base is a little older here, too, so most conversations are pretty good. xD What is your first language?

Yeah, that's awesome! I'm so, so glad I can finally say completely common words like "grape" without worrying about the filters possibly thinking I'm saying something inappropriate and freezing me haha. I also love all the possibilities when it comes to customising our HA buddies, there are so many great items! After all these years of customising nothing but my pets this is pretty refreshing tbh It's portuguese!

HAs are totally my addiction on this site. o3o I love my pets and I do stuff with them occasionally but I've been obsessed with playing dress up for the most part LOL. There are soooo many wearables and they're always adding more. I belong to this guild (we call them cults here idk if they were around in 2009) called Daily Item where they will pick a cheap item every day and you have to make an HA wearing it. You get a point every time you do it, and you can save up points to buy things out of the Cult's shop. I love it because it gives me something to create a new HA around every single day. :D

That's awesome, I honestly would have never guessed English wasn't your first language! I wish I spoke another language. I took a few years of French in school but nothing stuck with me. I really wish I would have taken German. I am very bad at accents and it seems German is similar enough to American English that it probably would have been easier. -__- Ahh well.

I can already see HAs slowly becoming my addiction on here haha. That and sweetheart pets. I have a soft spot for cute pets and subeta has this? I'm not going to lie, I'm probably going to end up painting all my pets sweetheart and won't regret it one bit.

I'm pretty sure we had guilds back then? Cults are a new thing to me, just goes to show how long it's been since I played subeta I guess LOL. That sounds super fun tho!! I'm def going to try joining that cult/guild and maybe play that game once I have enough items in my wadrobe to make proper outfits.

It's even worse if you think of how similar Spanish is to Portuguese... >_> I'm sure you could do it if you tried though! At least neo has the option to change languages), I only got around to actually learning the language last year. Funny that you mention that, because I was told that by a friend just the other day! He was all "learning English for german speakers can be hard, esp because of the accent. English speakers tend to learn it fairly easy though". Wow are you seriously?! You have a REALLY good grasp of the language! I'm not just saying that! That's really incredible for only learning it fully last year. :o English is said to be really hard to learn and I believe it. Our grammar "rules" are so all over the place. And that is too funny that your friend said that. I REALLY wish I would have realized it earlier haha. I feel like there's no hope for me learning another language at this point in my life, but hopefully my daughter will one day wish to do so! Being bi-lingual has so many advantages.
