Title says it pretty well. I am just now getting started in the game. Played neopets forever but variety is the spice of life! Hehe. I have just been fiddling around a little bit and haven't really got it all sorted out yet. Any sweet advice for a new player?

I will definitely be almost exclusively Battle Coliseum oriented for sure so I'd really appreciate any pointers there!

Other random tidbits I can think of right now are to make a shop so you can take advantage of the quickstock feature to move items in your inventory faster. Do quests daily, they are a great source of income. :)

Exactly, there's 2 zappers, just be warned that it can destroy items and stuff too. Zapper V1 you can do every 4 hours, Zapper V2 you can do every 2. So you can zap a lot more often than Neo. :)

Also you can look in the adoption center for pets it can be found as the far left building on the Delphi map (HERE)

Have you tried updating you HA (human Avatar) yet? There's a lot you can do with it.

You should be able to choose a full outfit either upon joining or opening up the wardrobe.

Thanks! I haven't checked it out much yet but I did figure out how to at least cover my shame haha. The Zapper(s) truly are fickle. Round 2 got me a Popoko thingy but it was fixed by being turned into a sketchy moth thing which I really dig. So far the site is pretty fun. Did the quests and I love the intuitive layout of that whole process.

Since you're just new, your pet will be limited to Tier#1 items, but it's pretty easy to stat up here.

A really affordable weapon is Red Rreign Staff of Lore, as it has a 10HP per turn heal, as well as attack. It's a nice constant to start with.

You can work towards saving for items like Phoenix Quill, Shinwas Temple Shard, there's a couple of more expensive items that you can use even when you are the highest tier, but can be used by a lower tiered pet. After a few days you'll find that sP isn't so hard to earn, so you can get there quite quickly c:

I think part of the way it works well here is there's a strict one account policy, people want to be here and there's no culture of trolling people til you get frozen, and hopping on a new account :9 Glad you're enjoying it thus far!

The Battle forum also has heaps and heaps of info! I haven't had a Tier 1 (T1) in a long time, so I'm really rusty for what weapons you can use :9
