It's that time again - I'm looking to buy some art of my characters, and I'm turning to the lovely users of Subeta to help me out!
I am looking to buy art of some of my lesser-drawn characters - so that means a few of them do not have very many references. I really hope this doesn't deter people, as I REALLY want to boost my art collection for these guys :D
First and Foremost: The Guidelines
- I will be buying art with SP, CSC and USD; however, my supply of USD is limited. Please don't be offended if I can't spend USD on your art!
- Likewise, I am looking for specific styles and quality of artwork, so I may reject a few people. This in no way means you're a bad artist - it just means you're not quite what I am looking for!
- USD payments will be given via Paypal.
- I will not pay 100% in-full before the commission begins. I have been swindled too many times. I am perfectly happy to pay after a sketch stage, or pay half up front and half at the end, but I will not be able to pay 100% before any work is done, sory!!
- At this time, I am only looking for human art. Sorry, quad artists! I usually seek quad artists out specifically for pet overlays, so you may see me snooping around your art selling boards if you are a quad artist.
- I am perfectly happy waiting for a commission, however I DO require that lines of communication be left open. Let me know how it's going, give me an update every now and then, PLEASE be honest and reasonable with your commitment to how fast you can complete a commission. In return, I will be absolutely reasonable with my expectations for when I can expect to see art :D
- I LOVE TO GIVE YOU FREE REIGN! Things like poses and the like are generally left up to you. I want the artists I commission to have fun, and I like to be surprised! As long as it is in character, I am happy!
With the rules out of the way, here's the fun part - the characters!
Character Info!
Most Wanted
These are the characters I need art for the most! Most of them are boys, so I guess they might not be as popular to draw, cry :(Fyfe Pet • Charahub Fyfe is the oracle to the Goddess Psione; in a way, he is her bridge between the immortal and mortal world. It is his job to record important decisions she makes and repeat them to her priests, who in turn share it with her followers. Fyfe, however, really, really, really hates people, which makes him rather... unsuited for the job. He is always angry, he scowls, he pouts, and he generally does everything with an air of wishing he was doing something else. Like hating people.
- Despite the references on his charahub page, his ears are actually pointed; this is a sign of immortality!
- The bells he wears on his head are a sign of his position.
- The colors of his outfit are not 100% set in stone, and you can absolutely play with this. Please do so. I'll appreciate it!
Andi Pet • Charahub Andromeda, better known as Andi, is the God of the South, associated with both the moon and with cats - lots and lots of cats. Andi is the youngest of the gods, and he is also the most easy-going and jovial of them all. He is very attached to his old mortality, and he collects small trinkets like coins and keys that remind him of his old life.
- Andi has a long, spotted tail, though this is his only 'animal' feature!
- The opposite of Fyfe above, he is almost always smiling. He loves life, and he enjoys sharing that with just about everyone.
- In addition to picking up trinkets, he tends to pick up stray cats. A lot of cats.
Bombay Pet • Charahub (BOTH ARE PRETTY MUCH COMPLETELY UNFINISHED) Bombay is the youngest son in a noble family full of sons, so he is set to inheret pretty much nothing and has no purpose in life other than looking pretty. His mother, bored with her sons, treats Bombay as something of a doll, dressing him in fine clothes and jewels and parading him around at parties and gatherings. Because of this, Bombay is very sheltered, very spoiled, and unbelievably socially awkward. It's only after he meets one of the god's servants - a man named Morning - that his life gets even remotely interesting...
- Bombay is pretty much a blank slate, design and art wise. His basic facial design is on his charahub, but other than that he has hardly anything. This is basically a fun do-what-you-want clothing wise character. I would love to see what people come up with!
- Bombay can go either way, with human OR pointed ears. It becomes relevant to his story later on and I'm not finicky enough to ask either way c: (oh my god someone draw him this is one of my top requests)
Nerys Pet • Charahub Nerys is the mother-goddess of Pridd, a beautiful shape-shifter that represents the sea. She is ancient and wise, although she prefers to be quiet, drifting behind the scenes in the immortal land, watching her mortal people from afar.
- This is one character I won't mind getting quad art of, because she is a shape-shifter and actually has an animal form!
- She is represented as a leafy sea dragon, and her sea dragon appendages are just that - appendages, not little accessories or anything!
Second Up!
I will definitely consider art for these characters if it's something I'm really looking for :DFranchesca Pet • Charahub Fran is the mistress of death, a beautiful, mysterious woman who looks far more formidable than she is. She is a very humble, loyal and honest woman who takes her role and all that it symbolizes very seriously.
- Fran is a Maharen, a human-like species with horns on their head; in Fran's case, they are horns similar to a ram. Like actual rams and mountain goats, a Maharen's horns are not just there to look pretty - they actually do fight with them! Well, she doesn't. Hers are just decorated.
- She carries a lantern with her, a symbol of her job.
- Her cloak can have the hood up or down, that is up to you!
Sakuranbo Pet • Charahub Saku is the Sage of Fire, a type of being known as an Elemental - and the last known of his kind. He is perhaps the most cheerful 'child' you will ever meet. He is rarely without a smile, and he truly is the type of person that would be perfectly happy spending every moment of his life making others smile. He is a bit childish for his age, but he's so endearing that most people don't seem to mind!
- Saku is sort of girly, oh well
- He is absolutely covered in freckles :D
- Happy happy happy happy happy happy
Secret Favorites
These two characters have LOTS of art. Lots. However, I'm generally always willing to buy more. They are NOT my priority this round, BUT if you happen to have what i am looking for, chances are I will bite anyway!Leif Pet • Charahub • Photobucket of Refs Leif is a young man that would be perfectly happy being an ordinary person, just working quietly in his bakery and being a happy, shy introvert. That is, until Leif starts hearing the voice of the Goddess Psione in his head, and he learns that he is destined to not just work besides the gods, but save them. -Leif is my baby, my favorite of my OCs.
- He is almost always in the companionship of his best friend and lover, Zygs
- Leif is shy and quiet, but also extremely gregarious, and he hates to be alone.
Fen Pet • Charahub • Photobucket of Refs Fen is a young inventor who is determined to bring about the second Steam era to Pridd and bring an end to the use of mage power. He grew up in a very prestigous family, and he now wants to make himself known for more than just his family name, but also for his mind.
- Fen is chubby and cute
- His boyfriend Walnut is tall and skinny and basically his opposite and loves to make Fen blush
- Fen likes candy.
The World and Setting
The characters I will be purchasing art for are all part of a story I do along with ; it is a steampunk/fantasy setting that features a lot of elements from both. You can read quite a bit about the world on my pet Andi's profile, about the gods on 's pet Telamaine's profile, and about Theede, the land of the gods, on Psione's profile! This is just here so I don't have to repeat it every time c:
AS A NOTE: I have a lot more characters than this. A LOT MORE. I am just tired of typing it up here xD if you are interested in drawing for me and want an idea for some of my other characters, please don't hesistate to message me :D I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO SHARE THEM WITH YOU!!
I also have a few characters that only have VERY rough designs, whether it's just an HA to get the basics down or a written description or a little RO sprite. If you like working from descriptions, definitely shoot me a message!

Hello! My examples are here . I am currently looking mostly for usd commissions. As for characters I really enjoy drawing details, hair and fantasy elements, but I can say I like all of your characters. :D

USD would be my preference. I give sketches and WIPs to show how far I am throughout a project, so you know exactly what's going on. You have so many interesting characters to choose from. It's hard to choose but I would be mostly interested in drawing Bombay, Nerys (human or quad), Franchesca and/or Leif. I am opening to drawing any of your characters though!

I'd much prefer usd -- If you want full body, it would be $15 for a flat color and $20 for shaded. :)

I love how your style has almost a comic book feel to it, it's REALLY unique! I would love for you to do a portrait of Fran in your style =) Would you be willing to do one for a payment that is $15 USD and 1500 CSC for a total of ~$30?

I'm really interested in drawing Nerys! I'm willing to draw her human form (example here). I'm primarily a quad artist, though, so I'd love to draw her quad form (examples here and here). It's worth mentioning that I have experience drawing leafy sea dragons! I did an extremely stylized one for a school art project a few years back (here if you want to see it. Sorry for the not-very-good image but I don't have another one atm!)
My prices are $25 USD for just the character, $35 with a simple background. I'd much rather be paid in USD, but if you don't want to pay entirely in USD or not at all in USD, I'll take CSC c:
I'd love to draw whichever characters you think would look good in my style, but I also particularly like Fyfe =)

I can only afford to work for USD at the moment; uncoloured lineart would be $10 for headshot/$15 for full body, flat colour would be $15 for headshot/$20 for full body, minimal shading $17 for headshot/$22 for full body, painted $20 for headshot/$25 for full body.
