I have a very random idea. I wish I had better art skills so I could contribute on the art side -- maybe eventually!

I am thinking that it would be nice to take the custom wearable trade and do something "bigger picture" or at least warm-hearted with it. I work a lot with shelter animals and urgent rescues in California, and the money it takes to pull animals out of high-euthanasia shelters (like San Bernardino/Orange County) and transport them or rehome them is always huge.

As we know, though, we can't take money for Subeta items and take donation money instead of sP/CSC, so I had an idea!

Would any artists be willing to donate designs/artwork/overlays/CIs to have a charity auction to raise money? I was thinking that it would be a good idea, rather than donate to a rescue's general fund, to try to identify some of the high-risk animals (there are a lot of animals that get posted on Facebook) and then donate from there.

This is just a thought, and I figured I would put the idea out there and see what people think. Ideally there would be a way to designate someone to post on the Facebook sharing threads once/if money is assembled so that the rescues will know that there are pledges to rescue certain animals out of shelters, and then perhaps the artists could also post from there? Pledges are usually fulfilled through PayPal to rescues, so it's very legit and everything. :) I don't mind the administrative side of helping out either to get something like this going?
