I am so excited about Destiny coming out on Monday night. Game Stop called today to remind me that I could come by on Monday night at 10pm for their release party, but I don't know if I'm going to go or not because I know my self-control will fly right out the damn window and I will stay up all damn night playing. I'm probably going to go over Tuesday morning and get it. I didn't get any of the special versions, just the game itself, because I'm broke as hell right now and even that $60 or so is hard for me. I put a down payment of $20 on it though, so at least I'll only have $40 or so to pay yet. But before I went to work tonight, I watched the gameplay trailers and holy shit you guys, I think they've really outdone themselves on this one. I mean, the graphics and the game types available and just fucking everything just looks so damn good. I really hope I'm not disappointed, but it's Bungie and Halo has been my love for a good long time, so hopefully this will live up to that. It looks like a mix between Halo, Final Fantasy, and Star Wars to me though, so if any of those three ring true, I should be good to go.
So. Anyone else bascially having a gamegasm over Destiny? Going to the release party? Going to stay up all night and play until you're comatose?
I just got this game today, and those graphics though. haha I swear, I made my character stand against the railing in The Tower for like five minutes as I just stared out at that skyline and the sunset and omg.
The cut scenes are pretty stunning too. The mountains and the clouds look real as hell.
ANYWAY. This game is awesome. I'm only level 4 and I've only done two story quests so far, but it's amazing. xD
On the 360 the graphics are only so/so, but I just love it overall. I may not be able to afford the Xbox One, but dang I'm so happy they made Destiny for the 360 too. :3 Makes me a happy little lady.

I havent got to play it yet because my bf has been playing every waking minute since he got it from Gamestop for the ps3. He just beat the main storyline.

Did you meet the Agent of the Nine today? He's going to be dealing in Exotic weapons until Sunday night and is supposed to come up every weekend until further notice.
My friends and I were sitting on the awning over on the shipwright side and just talking and staring at the scenery and the ships coming in.
I would have legit cried my eyes out if they hadn't made it for the 360. There's no freaking way I could afford another system.

The PS4 bundle came with the game. <3 It was the only way I could get a next gen system. (Thank God for Gamestop.)
BUT YEAH. You get your Light up by getting blue engrams or armor, purple is Legendary, yellow is Exotic and they all up that Light so you get better abilities and such. c:

I tried the Vault of Glass but it DEFINITELY needs to be done co-op.
flails I meant about the Agent of the Nine! I know about the light and stuff - I'm level 23 at the moment. And all my armor and weapons are blue, lol. I got my first legendary last night but it was for a titan and I'm a hunter so I was like this: WOOHOO YEAAAAAHHH...oh...wait, wtf...DAMNITDAMNITDAMNIT. And then I dismantled it and got glimmer and weapon parts and stuff, lol. I tried the Vault of Glass yesterday too and damn...I got stuck with these two people who had no. fucking. clue. what they were doing so needless to say I didn't make it.
Oh! He brings in Exotic goodies! Weapons and armor, it gives the Strange Coins and Motes of Light more purposes. My first legendary was for a Warlock, I'm a Hunter as well. I FINALLY got a new helmet for her but she looks like a Praying Mantis now, lmao.
OMG. I was going it alone, that's how I know I need two I can depend on. Just because of how it has to be held down. There's two Sync Plates that you have to control to open the door to the Vault of Glass. At once.
And where is he? I hope I can get online in time tomorrow to hunt him down and pry some cool shit out of his hands, lol. I really wish we could trade weapons and armor between players, or just give things to people. I would have loved to have given that legendary to my friend who has a titan. He would have flipped the heck out, roflmao.

I want the Ghost Angel cloak but I need more Motes.
I want the Dustwalker leg armor...I think that's what it's called. It's like 280 defense and allows you to carry more pulse rifle ammo if I remember correctly. I prefer the cloaks that...uh..cover the backside, lol. I think the female character's hips and backside are too big for her frame. XD
The Ghost Angel one is very slim and just a bunch of belts woven together into a braid. I need it.
Yeah, I went and got it the morning before Destiny came out so I would have it. It's going to be something massive given it's like $15 more than most season passes. XD

Oh! I found that exotic weapons guy today before work. He was being creepy and lurking in the shadows, lol. I couldn't afford anything, though there was a really nice piece of chest armor I would have liked to have had. Maybe next weekend I hope!
